DD turned 10 in January and we are planning on Disneyland in May. It will be me & DP, and DP's parents plus DD (10) and DS (7)
We will get her an adult ticket because she has turned 10 (she's pretty excited to be an "adult"). BUT, I would like to eat at several of the restaurants and there is no way she will eat if she can't order off the kids menu. DS I could get to order off the adult menu, but...
Do you think this will be a problem? She is a fairly picky eater--- plain pasta, mac & cheese, plain grilled cheese sandwich, no meat, carrot sticks, steamed brocolli, most fruits & breads. It is just much easier to get her something off the kids menu (like at Red Robins--- they have an Adult Mac & Cheese but it comes with bacon and tomatoes so we end up ordering her two kids mac & cheese). Will they care? Will they ask to see her ticket to see she is under 10? IMO, she definately looks 10--- she is like 4'9" and about 73 lbs. Definately tall enough to be 10 but not curvy at all, so not mistaken for much older.
TIA
