11 days in WDW for our anniversary (boy time flies!! ) We had perfect weather, warm and dry (not hot and muggy). Stayed 4 nights at the GF conceriege..my goodness that was nice. Yeah, its a lot of points but my suggestion is to do it once.
The rest of the time we had a 1br at the WLV. This is our 2nd favorite DVC resort (BW is our #1). The place was very nice had no issues with anything in the room.
We were there a week before we went on a ride. I think thats the whole point w/DVC, we can actually enjoy the resort alone and not hit the parks "commando" if we don't want to. It was nice to do basically nothin' for a week. The parks were packed though. I heard on the local news they were up 14% over last year. It sure did look it.
While we were in DTD somebody broke into a car and took a whole bunch of stuff, I don't know the details but there were a couple of people pretty upset while they were on the phone with security/police. Just a reminder that DTD is just like any other shopping area, PUT ALL VALUABLES out of sight. That was kind of a bummer.
Can't wait for the Food and Wine Fest. in November.
