Hubby and I will be celebrating our 10 Year Wedding Anniversary on the 29th. We are arriving on the 27th and coming home on the 30th.

I have the latest lunch time (4:15) reserved for the Italian Restaurant in Epcot, (as we are using the Connections Lunch Vouchers) but want it to be our "dinner". If Connections does come out with a Dinner Voucher, and the price is right, I would probably change the ressie to a later time.

The schedule so far is:

Day One - Magic Kingdom with E-Night
Day Two - MGM - Possibly the Fantasmic Dinner
Day Three (our Anniversary) Epcot - Dinner in Italy
Day Four - Probably Epcot or Magic Kingdom again (we are not too keen on AK). We have a late (7:30pm flight).

We also have a rental car, so getting around is not a problem!

We haven't been to Disney without the kids in years. Any suggestions for making this a memorable/romantic trip that doesn't cost an arm and a leg?

Just bumping this up!
Come on Guys!

We also went to WDW for out 10th anniversary.....well, it was really closer to our 11th anniversary because of some unexpected life events around our 10th, but that's a different story. Anyway, the most memorable evening for us was the time we spent at Jellyrolls (dueling piano bar on the Boardwalk.) I'd highly recommend that if you like that kind of thing.....the pianist are very talented and it's a very fun evening.....definitely not something you could do with the kids along. We didn't make it to the Adventurers Club at Downtown Disney, but I've heard that's great too, so since you have several nights you might want to try that as well. Have a great time!

Thanks, you know, I never thought we would be into Dueling Pianos (guess I didn't understand the concept), until we did the Magic Cruise and went almost every night.

Is it like that? Anyone?

We were there for our 15th a few years ago... We made sure the hotel (Poly) knew in advance... when we arrived, there were two leis, a rose, and two pins that said "It's our Anniversary"! It was such a nice touch. We wore the pins everywhere - it's amazing how often we were congratulated or offered surprises like a free dessert. We ate our anniversary dinner at the Brown Derby at MGM. Went there so we could do ToT and RnR without the kids - then went over to Epcot. You will enjoy that, I'm sure - I think World Showcase at night is very romantic. Have a wonderful trip!!!

Thanks, I will call Member Services (DVC) and have them put that in our reservation at Old Key West.

I remember when we stayed at the Poly for my daughter's 5th Birthday, they sent a little cake, hats, balloons.

She was very surprised. The Poly does it right!

We have been to WDW for several anniversaries. Last was for 25th. We stayed at Poly (we stayed there on honeymoon) and WL. We did mention our anniversary when ressies were made and by fax a few days before arrival. We were upgraded to lagoon view at Poly. They gave us "badges" that said it was our 25th that proved to be worth their weight in gold. The Poly also left us a cheese platter with a split of Champagne on first night. At WL guard gate the CM greeted us with a Happy anniversary and at check-in we were moved to corner room on 7th floor with a fair view of MK fireworks on weekend. The WL also gave us a bottle of white wine.
We ate at Citrico's, Narcossees, Spoodles and Yachtsman Steakhouse. Each place did give us a little extra treat. An example was including the wine pairings at Citrico's. We ate at Tony's, Italy, Canada, and the Brown Derby in the parks.
We took an Illuminations cruise from Boardwalk with wine and cheese.
We did not expect anything and so we were very pleased to see such attention. That is the key point, don't go expecting too much, WDW does some spectacular things above normal but not all the time. You did not say where you were staying but if at WDW resort make sure you mention to them it is your 10th just in case they are in a good mood!!!!!

We are staying at Old Key West, I don't think they could give us an upgrade since we used points, but anything would be appreciated!

I would love to have some type of pin! What a wonderful idea!

My DH and I will celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary on May 15th. We were supposed to celebrate at WDW, but we have an all paid work trip to New Orleans instead. DH said we could celebrate in the fall at the GF, which is where we spent our honeymoon. But, as for ideas, I had wanted to have dinner at the California Grill. I hear it's very romantic with the fireworks and definitely not a place we would want to bring our two year old along. Also, the Adventurer's Club is a place that I've always wanted to try also. Try to hit the spots that you wouldn't go when you have your kids with you. We've eaten at the Yachtsman Steakhouse before and it's excellent. What about Shula's at the Dolphin? That would be a very nice meal without many other children in the restaurant. Happy 10th Anniversary!
