Recommendations needed please we are staying in OKW in sept and during our stay is our 10 year wedding anniversary :hug:
with no kids as grandparents babysitting where would you eat.........??? How would you make it extra special ??

I would go to Yachtsman Steakhouse, then wander into Epcot through the Ineternational Gateway and watch Illuminations.

I would have suggested California Grill as an alternative but it is unlikely to have reopened again by September.

As far as making it 'extra special', why not order a small cake or a Cinderella Slipper dessert to be delivered to your table. Or what about an Illuminations Cruise :thumbsup2

When we go Oct 2014 it'll be just 4 days after mine and DH's birthday ...... same date, different year :rotfl::rotfl: anyways I'm hoping to book the Chef's Table at Victoria & Albert's in The Grand Floridian Hotel ..... it looks pretty special to me :lovestruc:lovestruc

what about Nacoisse at Grand Floridan heard good reports about that plus we'd get to watch wishes in total peace

DH & I are celebrating our 13th anniversary in FL in July and we are planning dinner at Artist Point followed by watching wishes from the WL beach and drinks in the Territory Lounge

DD will be at the kids club which she loves so I don't feel bad at all :goodvibes

Citricos or Narcoossee's would be my suggestions.

Its our 10th anniversary next year, so im thinking of something like an illuminations cruise and a meal at Citricos. :thumbsup2

How far will your budget stretch for your anniversary dinner?

I arranged a Disney Catered Event for our anniversary as a surprise for my wife. I hired the UK pubside patio for 2 hours, we were served an amazing selection of food which I hand picked, watched Illuminations, it was absolutely amazing. The problem is it isn't cheap. In total, it cost me around $500!

If you want just a nice signature, either the Yachtsman with Illuminations or Artist Point with Wishes, are both fantastic!

We had a private butler dinner at grand floridian for our first wedding anniversary and had views of wishes and illuminations. They recreated our wedding meal which they had cooked anyway. So many nice little touches too was very romantic (would have been better but i was 25 weeks pregnant with twins )

This.

Can't tell you how amazing the food at V&As is (Well, all right maybe I could but it'd take way too long). Florida isn't part of the Michelin guide but if it was this place is probably the only place on property that'd have a good chance of getting a star.

Here's a food review we did as part of our TR.

And this was the 'basic' 7 course menu in the main room. The Chef's Table and Victoria & Albert room are a more grand 10 course affair.

:)
