So, we met our friends for dinner last night. Sorry, no pics of friends or our food...We were too busy drinking...We managed to polish off 2 bottles of wine.And, we had a lot of fun!!!!

Well, last night, we went out for hibachi (to celebrate the new year and my twin's birthday). The food was great, but my son, Matt received second degree burns on his wrist when the chef was plating his salmon (the oil splattered). The manager gave him burn cream and aloe and apologized profusely, but I feel more could have been done. He’s in a lot of pain and his wrist has blistered. So, not a great way to ring in the new year...Thank goodness it wasn't his face, or anything more serious...I felt soooo bad for the poor kid.

Looks like you all had an eventful couple of days. Happy birthday to the girls, but how terrible that Matt got burned and they did relatively nothing about it. I would have thought they at least would have comped part of the meal.

I also had to giggle to myself that Matt's girlfriend a. has an amazing name and b. together they share the same names as my brother and I, which is most definitely weird

That is crazy!!! Kari’s real name is Kyrie like the Mr Mister song. Yes, that’s really true! Lol!!!

Hi everyone! Nothing new to report, except that I will be ordering park tickets for the girl's trip in a few weeks...We are only going to MK, so it shouldn't require too much effort...The nice thing is that Gia will be with us, so we can take advantage of rider swap, which we loved in July!!!!!

Yay for the girls trip! I am so ready to plan a 2018 trip, even a short one, but right now our next one is in November!

Oh no, poor Matt! Whenever we do hibachi I'm always wondering if anyone ever gets burned, and now I know I hope the pain has lessened and the blister is going away.

I need to order tickets for the boys this weekend! We still have a couple weeks before we make our March FP's, but if I don't do it now I'll forget lol

I was surprised the restaurant didn't offer to pay for an ER visit, or at the very least, comp his meal...
YAY for the girl's trip!!! It's a loooong time coming!!!! We've never done one together, so I'm very excited. Plus, while I'm gone, Joe is going to redo the kid's bathroom!!!!

Matt is doing much better! Thank you! We aren't doing any parks in March, UNLESS Tim is free and can get us in for free...That being said, if we do a park, it will most likely be AK to do the 2 new attractions. And, I don't care how long the wait is. LOL!!!!

QUICK UPDATE
Tim leaves for the Disney College Program in 19 days. He and his roommates made their selection for housing today, so here's hoping they get their first choice...
Joe is bringing Tim down. They are spending a few days in St Pete with family before Joe helps to get him settled. Tim should find out what time his day gets started on the 29th (move in day) in a few days...So, while Tim is at orientation, Joe is going to hang in DS (most likely at Jock Lindsey's), and he will be picking a few things up for me... Mainly, soap from Basin!!!!!
I wish I were going too, but unfortunately, I have to work...However, Joe and I will be down in 75 days. I can almost feel the on my face. It's cold here in Illinois...Brrrrr!

Hi everyone! Not much to report. I've been shopping for our March trip, and managed to pick up a pair of Kate Spade sunglasses at Nordstrom Rack, and a cute tee from the Disney Store. Unfortunately, no pics. I also found a couple pairs of shorts from Macy's, but again, no pics...I'll try to get to that later...

Still waiting to hear where Tim will be working custodial in Disney, what time orientation starts, and where he will be living for the next 6 months...As soon as I know, I will let you all know. It's sooooo exciting!

Love the sunglasss. I'll have to check out the rack to see if I can find some. I'm a wh*re for Kate Spade (they only edited me last time I used that word) and usually only find good deals on stuff at the outlets. Good to know Nordstroms Rack has some too.

UPDATE!!!!

Tim just got his work assignment location for the Disney College Program and I'm thrilled to announce that he will be in the Magic Kingdom performing custodial duties on Main Street!!!!! MK was his first choice and he is beyond excited!

He also got his room assignment, which was his second choice, but he's with the 3, young men he hooked up with when choosing roommates. YAY!

He leaves in 5 days and we are just starting to pack him up and pick up last minute supplies. He checks in a week from today at 8:30am.

So, if you happen to see Tim, make sure you say hi!!!!!

They were out the door at 5am. I got a text from Joe at 7:30 saying they were already on the plane, and waiting to take off. They should land in Tampa at noon, where I totally wish I was right now...
