10 Things To Do At Disneyland With No Lines

I have to agree with that comment about the flag retreat. On every visit to WDW, I make sure to observe the flag retreat on a MK day. (The train station overlook is an excellent viewing spot, btw.) I definitely plan to see the DLR version this summer.

Totally agree on the Flag Retreat. It has been on my list of things to do forever but once we finally managed it, its not something I will miss anymore.

Love these! Had an AP all through college and would often go and not ride any rides, but find all the hidden gems-- many which are mentioned here!

Thank you for posting this! I was going to start a thread asking for the best "anytime" attractions. Since the switch to FP+ at WDW, my family really has enjoyed a few days of later afternoon entry with some FP rides mixed with things like Philharmagic, Monsters Laugh floor, castle show, etc prior to nighttime shows.

Any other suggestions of these type of activities is very much appreciated.

OP here. The blog was written about DL.

DCA has its own. Here are some

1. Animation Academy - see The Most Overlooked Attraction at Disney California Adventure

2. ITTBAB - like AK, but always a short line at DCA and only usually a short line at AK

3. Little Mermaid AUA - unlike MK, it is almost always a near walk-on at DCA

4. Ride the Red Trolley - https://disneyland.disney.go.com/attractions/disney-california-adventure/red-car-trolley/

5. Watch (rather, listen to) the award winning Mariachi Divas - https://disneyland.disney.go.com/entertainment/disney-california-adventure/mariachi-divas/

6. Visit the Blue Sky cellar

7. Go on the Bakery tour - see https://disneyland.disney.go.com/attractions/disney-california-adventure/bakery-tour/

8. Visit the Redwood Creek Challenge - https://disneyland.disney.go.com/at...rnia-adventure/redwood-creek-challenge-trail/

Well, there are 8 for you!
