10% target gift card deal worth it?

We purchased $1,500 worth yesterday ($300 online and $1,200 in stores). Used all $1,500 to purchase $1,500 worth of Disney gift cards today at self checkout in one transaction (it took some effort and I think I annoyed the Target employee who had to keep coming over to say it was ok to "skip bagging" because they were too light to register). Greensboro, NC worked.

I was able to buy $2100 in Disney Gc today using 10% off Target cards I got yesterday. I used the self checkout line.

I only bought $300 online yesterday because I was too busy (and covered in drywall dust) to go out. I went and bought $300 in Disney cards today. I used self checkout. Easy peasy. Well I was harassed by the Target manager but she's a friend and she was just having fun. Happy to have saved $30 with minimal effort.
