9 DAYS 9 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

its been nutty with science fair projects, book reports, living mueseum presentations you name we have had to do it.

BUT this is the last week of school and we just have a few class party's and then DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have my packing list infront of me and am adding to it daily. I have to go find water bottle holders for the girls and get shampoo ect.... to pack but I think I am about there!

OH did I mention we may be moving? We are staying on base just to a bigger house. We have no clue when our number will come up but hoping for late summer but it could be anytime and when it does we only have a week. SO I have also been cleaning and doing light packing of stuff we aren't needing right now so we will be somewhat ready.

Yes I am here but just not on the puter much.

My big delima right now is to decide if I want to pack my own beach towels or just use the hotel ones? We will have at least 2 days at the water parks plus hotel pool time. We have the van so I have TONS of room packing wise?

Any thoughts one way or the other?

HOW FUNNY! was just coming here to post an update!


3 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait.

I pulled the suitcases down today. I am doing laundry tomorrow then will pack on Wed and get all the food ready. I "think" I have bought everything we need. I have about 3 bags of stuff sitting in my closet that need to get organized.

I found a ton of cute fun stuff for the kids at the dollar spot at Target so I am going to make up some goddie bags and surprise the kids once we get to the hotel.

Oh and now in the middle of laundry/packing ect.... I get to be nurse. Hubby has a young marine who is having surgery in tomorrow/tues so he is bringing her here after she is released and she will spend tue and wed with us so we can help her out and she won't be left alone in the barracks unable to get out of bed.

I will just feel bad when we have to drop her off on Thur on our way to FLORIDA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG ITS SOOOOOO CLOSE!!!!!!

Well I think I am "almost" there. I have mine and the kids clothes in the cases. Most of the bathrooms stuff is packed up. The backpack is ready to go. I need to get the camera and extra lens packed away and the pool toys for the hotel out of the garage.

I also need to get food for the hotel, but that will be tonight after dinner.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I feel like I am totally forgetting something but I don't know what.

Oh the binder is right here next to me so I can write stuff as I do it.

ITS REALLY HAPPENING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait.

we are leaving about 1 pm today, (dh had to work a 1/2 day) then we will drive till we get tired, stop and relax about nc/sc. Friday we will go on to Orlando and see one of my best friends and stay with her.

Then SATURDAY we check in at SOG and spend 8 WONDERFUL days at the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't wait to come back and tell you all about it!!!!! I am sure I will have TONS AND TONS of pictures.

Well I AM BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was a very long week with ups, downs and a bit of stress but overall it was GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am working on uploading pictures ecttt and getting over a bit of a stomach but I got on the last day of the trip so once I am perked up I will start my first ever

TRIP REPORT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess its time I do this, LET THE TRIP REPORT BEGIN!

Ok this may take me a few different post to finish all this but I want to start now while its fresh.

OK so here we go!!!!!!!!!

We left the house by about 1:15pm on Thursday the 12th. That day was very uneventful. We coudn't decide where to stop. I wanted to stay at SOUTH OF THE BORDER! Anyone who has driven I-95 from Fl to Pa has seen the signs for it. IT is right on the Nc-Sc border and this VERY TACKY tourist attraction. The billboards for it are a HOOT! but we pushed on and stoped in middle SC.

We got a room then headed for our favorite traveling resturant CRACKER BARREL. Only this one was a MESS, the service was EXTREMLY SLOW, there was this screaming kid who NO lie screamed and yelled for close to 45min. 4 people left the resturant becuse of them, when that family left people actully CLAPPED, we cracked up! The best was when they cleaned the table behind us, a glass fell and broke and drink splashed all over mine and Lindsay's feet. I was worried about glass pieces and trying to clean off our feet first but the server was SOOO rude and said " uhhhh you need to get up for us to clean" I said I would like to make sure we don't have glass on our feet and legs first THANK YOU!

Needless to say she got NO TIP. OH she forgot logans fries and we didn't get a drink refill ONCE.

So then next morning we normally would have head to back to CB for breakfast like we do most trips but we skipped that and ate at the hotel. They had a pretty decent spread. We even ran into a family from IL. J and Log had Illinois t-s on and it sparked a convo.

so we headed south and stoped for Lunch in St. Mary's Ga. It was our first "home" We drove the kids to our old apt bldg and past the base and the hosp where Logan was born. Then 3 hours later we were arriving in ORLANDO!

We went straight to my friend Jen's house. She was at a volley ball tourney with her girls so we vegged and the kids played in the yard. Its the land of lizards so the kids had a blast trying to catch them.

Once Jen got home her ex was there too so that was funny catching up. We met them in St. Mary's about 2 months after we had both moved there J and her hubby were in the same unit. We became best friends instantly and have remained so even after her and C divoriced. Its funny they are still great friends too. He lives about 4 hours away and when he comes to see the girls play usually sleeps on her couch. he sayed at Jen's moms while we were there.

So the next morning, Saturday, we get up get showered and pack up. We head to the store to get snacks ect.. and head down the road.

About 45 min later we see this

It was TOTAL excitement after that! We head straight for our hotel. Shades of Green, Its the most beautiful hotel Of course I forgot to take pictures of it Haveing been in a few different Disney hotels I think I will aways stay at SOG. Its so quite, pretty, the rooms are HUGE and they are SOOO MUCH CHEEPER. But the noise for me is the biggest thing.

We pull up, I go to check in and even though its only 12 they have 1 of our 3 rooms ready, SCORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we unload EVERYTHING, this takes a few trips considering the van is PACKED, then we call MIL to see where they are, they are in the van on their way from the AIRPORT!

So we head towards the lobby and what do we see.....

I do TOOOO! We all screamed when we saw it. Thankfully traffic was light so dh could slow down and I could get a good shot!
