OK, I am Cricut illiterate, how long does it take you to do one of the Disney characters on it?

usually only about 5 min or so. You have to cut each color seperatly then glue them together. Its really fun to watch it work.

Went with my b/f's mom to Hobby Lobby today and was looking at the cricut cartridges. She also took me down the scrapbooking aisles and gave me tips and hints. I think I am officially hooked!!

Ok you all have to check out the cricut boards. A girl on there did the most AMAZING Disney scrapbook. Its is seriously beautiful. NOW I want to start my book already! but it is hard not knowing what pictures I will end up with.

well I am back, I hate to bring a sour note to my pre-trip but life has seemed to get in the way.

I found out that my dad has a spot on his lung that he is having a biopsy done on tomorrow(10-18)

He was dx with lung cancer in 1998 and after chemo and surgery had to have 1/2 of his right lung removed, but in 2003 was in remission!!!!!!!

This is a huge set back for us, but we are trying to stay positive. Please if you are of the praying sort keep my daddy, Bernie in your prayers. I am a total daddy's girl so I am taking this a bit hard right now.

THANKS!

You, your family, and your Daddy are in our thoughts and prayers:grouphug: .

Your daddy will be in my family's prayers:goodvibes

Thank you all for your prayers. We still don't know anything and probably won't until Tues/wed. He seems to be in a better mood so I hope the fact that they found this spot early and its small is encouraging to him.

on a brigher note. I am going to have 2 princess's for HALLOWEEN! my youngest wanted to be Sleeping beauty so I went ALL out and got the costume shoes crown and wand from the Disney store. This is WAY more than I would have EVER spent on a costuem but she can wear it next year when we go to the boutique and lunch at the castle.

Well my diva didn't want to do that:rolleyes: becuase she wanted to be Jasmine but only if I let her get the costume on-line where her belly showed:rolleyes: I said NO so she opted for a different costume. Well the other day I got a email from the disney store and they were VERY cheep, so I got it anyway so she will have a costume for the trip. I knew that once we are there she will feel sad that sissy is dressed and she is not. Once I told her, she was SOOOOO happy and didn't even care that her belly won't show in this one. GIRLS!

so now I TOALLY want to be snow white, but I think that will be a bit much? I love trick or treating too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good plan having another costumer for your diva....she definitely would have been sad....GOod Mommy:goodvibes

I love when parents come to the door w/ their kids and they too are in costume. :thumbsup2

Now if you came up to the door, in costume, without your kids, that would be a different story.;)

I am just a big ol' kid. last year I was a very cool witch

the year before that I was velma from scooby doo while my dd's were daphane and scooby

so yes I think I can rock it as a princess, but this is a new "hood" for us and do I want to be known as the crazy costume lady since I have only lived here 5 months???????? Ok my real rationalization is, do I want to shell out $40 bucks for the dress.

So I guess if they go on sale YES!

Love both of your pictures. So cool:goodvibes

Are you saying you are going to be Snow White at your home town or in Disney??

If at home, I say go for it:thumbsup2

I don't think you are allowed to at Disney....:confused3 :goodvibes

Snow white would be for Halloween. I would DIE before I wore that at disney and like you said adults are not allowed. I think the oldest is 12 maybe?

That Velma costume is awesome...and your daughter's pose is hilarious.:thumbsup2

I think they'd only think you were crazy if you were carrying your binder w/ you and drinking from a brown paper bag.;)
