10 people, 8 days and 3 rooms, IT WAS WILD!!!! *7/16* pt 3 on pg 20

in honor of reading Jordan's pre-trip I wanted to show you all the binder I made for this trip
binder011.jpg

I have tabs for each park then in each section I have resturant menu's printed that are options and a separte part for the hotel resie info.

I also have blank paper for notes I jot down while I read stuff on here.

I have put hubby in charge of transportation. He will soon be on here reading all he can to figure out who to get around to the parks ect...

anything else I need to add?

Love the binder! :thumbsup2

As for dining here is my go:

MK
-Crystal Palace - yummy and its buffet so everyone can find something they like.
- Tony's - I know this is a hot topic here but we had a great meal there and I timed it so we could watch Spectromagic from the outdoor seating whixh I requested at check in. Perfect! :thumbsup2

Epcot
-Le Cellier - MUST go there! After all, its Canadian! ;)
- Garden Grill - it was lots of fun and the food was really good! Belle ate 3 bowls of the green beans alone!
- Norway Princess Dinner - the food wasn't too bad but wasn't spectacular but the princess made up for it. They did seem rushed but where else can you knock Belle, Aurora, Jasmine, Ariel, Cinderella and Prince Charming off your "must meet" list all in one shot! :thumbsup2
- Coral Reef - again I asked for specific seating adn we got it right next to the tank. Food was good but it was our most expensive meal.

MGM
- SCi-Fi was the only one we ate in here. Atmosphere was amazing but we couldn't eat our burgers as they were burnt so badly that they were inedible.

Resorts
- Ohanas was so much fun! The kids had a ball doing all the activites and the food was so good! I once again requested a table and we got one by the windows so we could watch Wishes from there.

Can I go crawl in a hole now? Your binder cover looks like a professional did it!!!!!!!!!! I would pull the gender card, but really you just did a fantastic job.....I may have to have you email me that cover for my binder.:)

Does transportation include air travel info?

I am also going to do an important phone numbers list. Everyone's cell phone numbers. Emergency contacts. Resort numbers. You know the drill.

Thanks Jordan, I am a mom and a scrapbooker so that is where that cover comes from. Actully I was just thinking its a bit on the plain side and I need something to jazz it up a bit.

we are going to drive down to Olando. Its only about 14 hours from here. We are going to "try" and do it in one day and spend that night with a friend who lives down there, then on that Sat meet up with the rest of the family who is flying in from Il and OH.

Since we are staying at SOG we can take their buses or go to the poly and go from there. But he is going to get maps ect... and figure out the wheres and when's.

See I am anal and we are thinking of going to WL for the hoppty so I will need to know ahead of time, how to get there, what time we will need to leave to get there and all what is involved. If I don't know these things I will stress and freat until I know. Its a sickness really.

Sarah, did you try for CRT or just go for Ankerhaus?

I am iffy on Coral Reef since I HATE the smell of seafood but the rest of the family LOVES IT.

that is a bummer about Sci-FI. We loved the campy ness of it the last time we were there but I don't remember the food.

I haven't read much of the Garden Grill, I will have to check that out.

I'm not worthy:worship: :worship: :worship: I'm looking forward to seeing anything that you do.

The whole story about Hoppty had me laughing because I am EXACTLY the same way.:lmao: It drives my roommates CRAZY because they are both exactly the OPPOSITE. They are very laidback.

Well this weekend we got a mini-park fix. We met friends and went to Paramouts Kings Dominon here in Va. It was HOT and PITIFUL. That park is a bad excuse for an amusement park. It looks so run down and a bunch of stuff wasn't working.

BUT the exciting part is I got my DS, aka BUZZ to go on a small roller coaster. He was a mess and didn't want to go but I knew that once he went once he would love it, but he has apsergers syndrom and is VERY hesitent to try new things. This was a HUGE hurdle and he cried until he was in the seat. Once it started he was very wide eyed and by the end he had a smile! I asked him what he thought and he said "ya, that was kinda good" BOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SOOOOOO now we are a GO for SPACE MTN!!!!!!!!!!!!!:yay: :yay: :yay:

here he is with spongebob
kingsdominion2007049.jpg

I agree with you about Kings Dominion...I go there every year when I visit my family in Manassas and it seems to get worse and worse each year!

sarah is LC where you had the chocolate mousse? my kids thought that was the coolest thing! You eat in Canada everyday, why did you go there on your vacay!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

HI cherbear, thanks for joining me and for the advise. I will have to look up more stuff about the countries.

We were there on the 21st I think. Ya, 21st - just went and checked.

I went there because it is the best place to eat in all the World! The mushroom filet just melts.....

Drooling now.....must go back.....

too bad we went for lunch and couldn't get the mushroom filet. But I DID have a filet (oooohh, I just gave something away..big surprise huh? :rotfl: )

sorry, the 2 for dh and I were Carnival ones, but just for fun here are some pic's from that.

Love the binder!! It is great!!

I know of a site for travel distances for different places, like shows you best and fastest ways to get to place...Like MGM to Epcot, etc??

If you want the site, pm me,

I would post it, but think it is against forum rules:confused3

No, we didn't try for CRT. It was 2 dining credits and I had heard iffy things about it. Plus no princesses! I wanted the princesses! Sure Fairy Godmother and the mice and nice and I know you get to meet Cindy as you go in but they're not the same as meeting the big 5 all in one shot.

so you just booked dinners? We are going to try for CRT at lunch so we "should" have them all I hope. I am thinking this may be our only character meal. Sleeping Beauty is still IFFY on anyone dressed up. I am hoping she will go to the princess's since they are real people but I have not clue. She LOVES dora and wouldn't go near her at KD this weekend. I want a picture of her with Mickey but I don't know if that will happen or not?

KIDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Enjoying your report!!!

I am taking my MIl along on next trip as well.....YOu sound much more positive about it that I do....Must have something to do with our MILs... :rolleyes1 I am writing my own little pre-TR about that, though I can't guarantee I"ll make it back alive to turn it into a TR... :lmao:

I am going to give Primetime my vote as your restaurant of choice at MGM...I think with your big group it would be a hoot!!!!!!

Can't wait to read more!!!

I have to say I lucked out in the MIL dept. I actully have 2(mom and stepmom to dh)! AND I adore them both. Thats not saying every moment is rosy, but they both accepted me from the day I met them and have always been more like girlfriends over MIL/DIL also I must admit there is a very small age gap between us so I know that helps too.

now I am off you check out your pre-trip!

OK, now I wish you hadn't posted that Mickey you did with the Cricut. My b/f 's mom has one and I know after this trip she wants to drag me into the scrapbooking world and you just helped her by posting that :lmao:. It is adorable, it makes me want to try it. Oh no, I see many scrapbooking sessions with her :scared:.

start small and do a 8x8 book then you can work your way up to the big time 12x12 books! just watch and you will be an addict befor you know it!

We can hook her Meri!

You two crack me up :lmao:. I know I could get addicted to it very fast. I have paint shop pro and love making siggy tags and banners for some groups I am in, so I know I would like scrapbooking.

I would think when we go to his parents house at Thanksgiving and Christmas this is what I will be doing with her. Last Easter she had me messing with the Cricut.
