10 or 11 night Fantasy June 2017..$?

I am assuming for 2A in a cat 5 it could easily be $8-10K. Without the OBB it is going to be a hard sell for me to book. Just doing a quick look at other cruiselines for an 11 night with similar stops I can do a balcony for under $5K for 2A.

My hope is that it is about 8k, my guess is about 10k- 12k.....for family of 4 for inside. Based on other 7 nights on fantasy there is no way I can imagine it being less than that. If it is higher than that then I will have to reconsider....

Put it this way. I expect a lot of complaining on this forum over the next few days about all the cruises and Probley more people sad to that there priced out.
I have a funny feeling it's going to be more nasty price increases and some nasty shocks but hope am wrong

I'm hoping they will review Summer 2016 bookings and not start the cruises out so high. The British Isles 2016 sailing didn't increase in price after opening day. Granted, it appeared sold out the first week but due to the high pricing, most of those holds expired and the pricing remained consistent until they had to offer *GT rates in March to sell them. The 2015 EBTA on the other hand was priced really low on opening day (It was a cool new itinerary with stops in NY, Canada, Iceland, Norway) and increased over $3k in the first few weeks and eventually sold out.

There is June Fantasy cruise that has a $4,700 VGT rate for 2A. That would put the 11 night at $7,400 for 2A at a minimum but I am going to assume there is going to be a premium on these sailings.

This is very interesting information, I hope DCL realizes this as well.
Thanks for posting it.

I would love to be on the Fantasy for 10/11 nights. I'm hoping that this itinerary will be popular so they will continue it in future years and then the prices will come down when the itinerary isnt so "new" anymore! (like the panama canal ones!) And then I will book it! :D

This is interesting and shows that it is not selling. However, I don't think you can use this price as a guide since that cruise is 3 months out and the new sailings will be 15 months out.

I think the sailings will be expensive...I just don't know how expensive. Fingers crossed I will be booking tomorrow.

It's actually less than two months out. It's the 6/4 sailing. The FL resident rate for that cruise in a 5C verandah is $3900 which is $1600 less than opening day. There are FL resident rates for every Fantasy cruise in June. There is still a FL resident rate available for the Star Wars cruise that leaves this Saturday!

so i have April 1 booked with OBB and the 10% off. Question..does the 10% off translate to this if it's not blacked out and i get 10% plus carry by OBB bonus $? what time can i call? how does transferring a reservation work?

If we were not going to Europe for two weeks and Disneyland Paris for the inaugural race races in September I would be booking a Florida Resident June cruise.

If the price it too high they wont sell. It worked out great for me we ended up with a great discount. I would prefer to book ahead at a reasonable price. It getting too hard for my husband to change his vacation dates last minute.

In true dcl fashion the price will be crazy. Im guessing inside room 13k. Verandah 15k at least.

So, when will 'normal people' (not Platinum) be able to book these cruises? I too am interested in the SC,but am only Silver. Also, i am on the Fantasy in 10 days - could I book it then?

Forgive me: 'normal people' is probably not the correct term. Goodness knows I am not 'normal.' ;)

I have an OBB I need to use by 11/11/2017. I'm booked on the Fantasy for March, but I don't like the thought of paying that much money for a Western itinerary plus it was turned into a Star Wars cruise. I think I may move it to one of the double dips before or after our annual June WDW trip.
