The 90 day mark is July 12 at 12:01 am Eastern.

So we are getting close, I am so excited!!!!
What do you guys have planned for the port of call locations?

That means 9:01 MST! Yeah me:woohoo:

Mountain Standard Time, but not Mountain Daylight Savings Time. It is 10:01 pm for them.

(Just wanted to be clear because we have some from MDT).

12:01 July 12 - my exact birthday!!!! YEA!!!

On the other side of that yea me coin... Last night a scorpion wandered into bed with me and I got stung. With a jerk reaction, I swatched the pain with my other leg - resulting in not one but two scorpion stings. Took about 20 minutes to find the little guy but I did - it was a bark scorpion. I am doing OK though.
Funniest part was my DH - always brave and sure of himself - I saw the scared little boy come out!!! He stripped the bed, vacummed the house, got a flashlight to check everywhere inside and out. he then decided he had to keep a light on but that was not enough so he tried to go into a different room - still not OK. So he came back into bed, light on, and laid still for about a minute, then swept the bed around him to see if anything was coming to get him, he repeated that for about 3 hours before he finally fell asleep. I was giggling so hard it really helped me forget how much it hurt!!!!

Hey, was logging in to see when we hit the 90 day mark. Looks like Sunday?

We just got back from our "we couldn't wait until Oct" cruise yesterday.

We got a great deal on Carnival and tried them out. DH and I had tried Carnival years ago pre-kids but hadn't been on one in ages. Was very pleasantly surprised. I'll post a compare on the main pages.

We did the 4 night cruise to Cozomel out of New Orleans on the Fantasy.

We didnt have our normal post cruise depression since we knew we were about 90 days out to Disney. Yeah!:yay:

Oh my goodness! I hope you are feeling OK. I have never even seen any scorpions in or around my house, but I am sure that they are there.

Lucky duck! I would love to hop on a cruise ship, any cruise ship at this point! I am glad that you enjoyed yourself.

Called and made final payment today so ready for Sun ressies! Anyone know what they are booking?

Also, any idea of when Pirates night is? Trying to figure out Palos preferred night.

We have decided against Doubloon :( However, we are planning on going to Meagans Bay on our own and maybe up to Paradise Point at St. Thomas. Then we are doing the 1/2 day Sail and Snorkel on St. Croix. I just wanted snorkel and so I guess I am OK with the family outvoting me on Doubloon.

We did Maagen's Bay on our own the last cruise. It wasn't as cheap as the Passporter made it sound it would be, just warning you. But it was absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed our time there.

I am so excited to book Palo this weekend!!

What made it so expensive? I found on VInow.com (the Virgin Island Vacation Guide website) that the cost was $4 each for entry. I figure that with the taxi it should be about $60 round trip. My dh usually pays a taxi to come back at a particular time to pick us up, so we won't have to worry about a new taxi driver, or even finding a new taxi when we are ready to leave.

I THINK but not sure we are going to do below in St. Croix

Paul and Jill's Stable and Farm on the west end of St. Croix, offers horseback riding just five minutes from Frederiksted. A 1 1/2 hour ride that includes scenic areas such as the rain forest, pasture and hill view of the cruise ship harbor. Afterwards it is supposed to be a 5 minutes walk to the beach.

OR

We may go on...

BigBeardsAdventure Tour to Buck Island: Sail on our 42' Catamaran RENEGADE, the only Sailboat with an underwater viewing window on St. Croix. We depart at 9:30 from downtown Christiansted to Buck Island's Turtle Beach, voted one of the most beautiful in the world. We provide snorkel gear to each guest and snorkel lessons on the beach. Once you are feeling comfortable with your gear, the Captain and crew will then take you through the underwater trail along the reef. After you've seen the trail, Renegade will sail to Big Beard's private beach on St. Croix for a barbeque lunch -- all you can eat (burgers, dogs, and fresh fish) and drink (rum punch). When we get back to Christiansted at 3:30pm :goodvibes

Still debating on St. Croix...

In St. Thomas we are going to dfinitely do the Doubloom snorkel trip through DCL if we don't do the snorkel trip in St. Croix. If we do the Buck Island snorkel tip in St. Croix I think we are likely going to go to Coral World and adjoining Coki Beach on our own.

ON a def note...I think Pirate night is Tuesday. pirate:

The taxi was more than the Passporter indicated it would be. I'd have to read my TR to see if I indicated how much we paid. It was just 3 of us, me, DH and DD (she was 3 at the time) and I think we spent about $100 round trip. We rented two chairs at the beach but didn't need them, we spent the majority of the time in the water. When we were ready to go back to the ship, there was a line of taxis but the driver was trying to pile more and more people in. The people who had been in the taxi before us were getting very angry about the wait. Don't get me wrong, I loved Maagen's Bay and thought it was gorgeous but wasn't prepared for it to cost as much as it did. but it's all good, like DH and i said, we were on vacation and how often do you have a chance to go to Maagen's Bay??

We have no opportunity for snorkeling here in the mountain west, so we're planning to OD on water sports. Two snorkeling trips? No problem. And the jet skis on Castaway Cay.

I was sitting with all my ressie retrieval info typed in waiting until 10:01 MDT to hit the 'Retrieve Reservation' button when my DD called from her friend's house where she's spending the night and told me she forgot her contact lens case, solution and glasses and could I please bring them to her? WHAT?? I have Palo and excursions to book in just minutes!! I didn't waste time with scolding, just grabbed the stuff and flew over there. Now I'm back with my finger once again poised above the 'go' button. Anyone there with me?

I was there with you! Got my Palo booked!!:banana:
Didn't book any excursions. After talking it over with DH today, he just wants to "go it alone" to a beach and bum. So, we'll probably wind up at Maagen's Bay in St. Thomas but not sure where for St. Croix. I'm thinking of leaving the kiddies on the ship in St. Croix and seeking out a Cruzan Rum place I've read about. Am also reading there are some cool bars at Cane Bay?

Val and Jac - You weren't alone. I was hitting the button at 9:01 to get what we wanted, and we did. Of course, I was really tempted to tell the dh that we were forced to go to Palo brunch on Sunday - he drives me nuts with his fantasy football, and it could have been a day "off" for me. Of course, I was the good wife and booked Palo brunch for Monday instead.

:grouphug: So glad you got your Palo booked!! I spent about an hour today narrowing down exactly when I wanted to do Palo dinner and brunch. Last time, we did dinner one night and then brunch the next morning - painful. This year we'll have a couple of days in between. We're doing Palo Brunch on Sunday, I'm thankful I'm not married to a football fan!! And we do Palo dinner on Wednesday. I would have preferred Palo dinner on Thursday but that's DD's b-day and am pretty sure it would not be cool to go to Palo dinner without her on her b-day!
