... Mary you are going on a cruise in August!!! Lucky you. Is it a 7 day cruise? You know i wish Disney offered some longer cruises. Like a 10 or 14 day cruise.

Well I hate to brag, (no I don't), but I'll be on the 15 day repo cruise 6 ports and 9 sea days! Should be great. I booked the cruise on the day it went on sale, so got a good rate!

... Mary - where abouts are you? We are just outside of Toronto and haven't quite broken the record yet - we have 10 cm still to go. Can not believe how much snow we've had this winter so far 197 cm (record is 207 cm from 1939). Last year we had 67 cm all winter I heard on the radio this morning which makes it even more depressing.

Hi Fiona ... I live in Waterloo. We've been hit on pretty bad up here. I can't believe the amount of snow. I'm not looking forward to the spring thaw. All that snow has to melt!

WOW! Have an awesome time Mary! I am going through cruise-withdrawl. I come here to try and alleviate it but sometimes I think it makes it worse.

Just last month I was sipping pineapple mojitos and listening to Chuy and Danielle in the Promenade Lounge. Sigh...

1 year, 6 months and 26 days till I am sipping those pineapple mojitos again. Could someone please make the time go faster.

Thanks Lisa ... I booked this cruise on the day it was announced, before I even went on my first cruise. I figured if I hated cruising, I could cancel! Well I loved my first cruise, and decided to stay on. I'm glad that I booked when I did, as it sold out in less than 8 hours. It's all paid off now, so I'm just waiting for the 90 day mark!

I've never tried a Pineapple Mojitos, but I do love pineapples. I don't know if it has alcohol or not, but I can't drink right now due to medications I'm on. I hope they serve a virgin version!

A pineapple mojito does have alcohol but ask for a virgin version, you never know! One of my favorite things on the cruise was all of the pineapple! Just about everytime I passed by Goofy's Galley I grabbed some. Yum!

Haven't been on here fur awhile. Work has been keeping me way too busy.

Sooooooo........Mary you got more snow. You know just how jealous I am because you keep getting all that fun white stuff?!?! (Whew, I laughed so hard it brought tears to my eyes!!!! You win Mary hands down!!! I'm just down here in FL basking away in the sun!!! Well it did rain yesterday, most of the day too. That's gots to count for somethin' doesn't it Mary???

How's everyone been lately? Don't leave out a thing. Whatsha been up too???We hid some Easter eggs for granddaughter Emily this morning. She had a blast looking for all of them. She found pert - n - neer all of them by herself too. We did have ta help her on a couple of them though. Wifey did tell me she couldn't see them on top of the fridge. I thought that would be the first place she would look. Silly me!!! (Is my face red or what???)

Well, gots to go, I'm going to hid some more of them Easter Eggs just for me. I like the chocolate ones with the vanilla cream centers!!!! Got to hid them for myself before they get eaten all up!!! Crazy wife and granddaughter will eat them all if I'm not careful!!! I love chocolate!!!!

OK David ... I will concede that you folks take the rain award. I have been to Disney many times in late August (start of cheap season, my Irish heritage, gotta save that penny) and have been rained on plenty. I find Florida rainstorms crazy. It downpours like there is no tomorrow and a half hour later it is a beautiful sunny day!!!

So in short I to you Floridians when it comes to rain and a double when it comes to sunshine!!!

Easter here was quiet. We did the big family thing yesterday, and my daughter and I had a quiet day today. I missed the days of the Easter hunt. She is too old now and can't risk the dog finding them. Yes, we did have chocolate and it was good!!!

Yes Mary we do have the rains down here. One of our sayings goes like this, if you don't like the weather, just wait 5 minutes and it will change. The summer months are our rainy season down here. So when we get some rain during the winter or spring we do our to the rain clouds thanking them for the wet stuff!!
Glad to hear you had a good Easter. You should do what I do........... that is hide some of those scrumptious chocolate eggs all over the house for yourself and then go hunting for them. (Put them up too high for your dog to get, and don't tell your daughter where they are. That way there are more eggs for you!!!!) If you need any other tips like that just let me know, I'm full of'em!!!

Did someone say "Rain"?? I got your rain up here in Oregon !!!! So much of it, in fact, I jumped on the phone and booked a cruise today!! But no, not just on any ol cruise...WE'RE GOIN ON THE BEST DARN CRUISE LINE EVER! And it looks like we'll be doin some sailing with some mighty kewl folks!
So, my name is Paige. I'll be on board with DH Chad, DS Gaige (14) & DD Paiton (6)....of course, THEY DONT KNOW IT YET!! I'm wonderin if i will be able to keep it a secret till Christmas.........eeeesh, that's gonna be tough....i'm HORRIBLE at keeping secrets! But, I have some faith in myself now, thanks to finding you guys! Teeheeehee!
Glad to see everyone had good holidays! Cant believe how we're almost 1/4th of the way through 2007 already...our sail date will be here before we know it!
Looking VERY forward to cruising with you! Does anyone have a past list of excursions for this cruise?

Hi Jean! The pineapple mojito is like a regular mojito with crushed pineapple. So it has mint leaves, lime, simple syrup, rum, club soda and of course pineapple! Very refreshing!

We have a DS13, DS11 and DD6, so some overlap in ages there. My DW has suggested that maybe the kids could get to know each other through DIS before we cruise so they have some friends to hang out with onboard. We're still trying to figure out how to do this!

We kept our last cruise a secret for almost a year, and they didn't know until dinner the evening before we were to embark. The looks on their faces were priceless! But it was VERY hard keeping it a secret - not just because you want to tell them, but because they are getting older and pick up on things more!

Good luck surprising them!

Welcome aboard Paige and family! We kept our last cruise (last month) a secret from the kids for a year! It was so hard! We did not tell them until the night before. It was worth waiting to tell them. The reaction was just priceless. Hopefully I can get DH to get the video posted to Youtube soon. Stay strong, you can do it!

davidls - could you please send some of that warm Florida weather to the midwest? We dream of living in Florida - maybe someday!
