Good Morning!

All the talk of vacations has me having Disney withdraws worse then usual!

My DH is back from the California fires again. They deactivated them early but there are rumors he may be leaving again for Oregon. This will be trip #3!

I will be so sad next week when everyone is leaving on the Panama cruise that we were suppose to go on

MJ- Glad your Mom is doing so well.

Texasgirl- I agree about booking it now. Never know when the prices are going to increase or the cruise fill up.

I would highly recommend booking it now. The prices are just going to go up. You can always rebook onboard if the prices are lower and/or discount and onboard credit makes it lower. If you book online right now, you'll only have to pay 1/2 the usual deposit.

We booked this cruise today! I have my confirmation #...it must be real. I am sooooo excited. I have to pinch myself.

Doing the HAPPY Dance!

As I mentioned, we had been looking at rates, and school breaks, budget so we would be all prepared to "rebook" onboard on our 2008 cruise.

Well in talking to our TA, we figured out that even with the 10% off and the 200 credit we would come out cheaper if we booked it NOW before we board due to the TA's group rates. When all is said and done..it is only 300 more than this year's cruise so that isn't bad. Prob a lot of that is fuel.

We are especially happy that this is a special sailing to St. Croix!

Regarding the surcharge, David is right. I paid mine off the end of April to avoid the surcharge. I can't believe I am heading to LA on Sunday. Take care all. I hope you will be able to stop in say say hi to us while on your cruise. Of course we all will be following along on your blog. We all are sooooooooooo jealous. I know I am. Well maybe next repo cruise I'll try to get signed up early for that one. One other thing I'm hoping to do is sail on one of the new ships when they come out. Gots to check it out!!!

David ... Thanks for the kind words. You really have to book on day 1 to get a repo cruise. Either that or expect to pay a fortune at the 90 day mark when everyone cancels. My cabin went up 2000 dollars for the two of us. I'm going to do a rebooking on the repo cruise and hope to transfer it to one of the new ships. Not sure if I will be cruising in 2010. Might have to devote it to the basement!

Me too! By the time we go on our cruise next year, it will have been 18 months since our last Disney Vacation. It's hard!

Hi Sheri and everyone ... Thanks for your well wishes for my mom, but she is still not home yet. They were all set to release her, however, in the last scan, they found that she still has an infection in her Pancreas. They are not sure what is causing it. Nice way to start a vacation. What really bothers me, is that this is the time I didn't buy cancellation insurance.

So sorry to hear about your mom's turn for the worse. My own mother suffers from PAD and many of a trip and plans have been changed do to the fact. It can be really hard having the "what if's" around all the time.

Well........................... how is everyone doin' this fine Saturday morning? Have you got that favorite cup of coffee in front of you? Are you still rubbn' those tired eyes? Wish you could climb back in bed and catch another couple of hours sleep? People, people, people............. come on wake up and start your day off right. Now, get down and gimme 20!!!!

You should see my list of important things to do today. Don't know when DW has time to make out this stupid thing. Mow the lawn, pull weeds in the flower beds, trim the hedges, feed the cows, slop the hogs, feed the chickens, mend the fence in the back 40. ( I may be stretching it a bit on some of those descriptions, but not by much.)

Surprised DW & DGD with our 3 day cruise last week. It is a combination birthday present for the both of them. Even though their birthdays are not even close to each other. After being on the Magic last year we wanted to see the Wonder too. And our vacation schedule could only support a 3 day cruise, so this worked out great!! It wasn't easy keeping this a secret from the two of them. What one won't think of the other one will. Sneaky the both of them!!

Well, gots to go and start on the hunny due list. Everyone have a great week-end. Talm to you again soon.

Hi everyone just wanted to say HI...

Football season is starting around here. I have DH coaching High School and Jr. High....One DS playing Jr. High and One DS playing "Midgets"...or in other words....My LIFE IS NUTS!!!

....O wait its always like this never mind....and I love football its my favorite season....you can just smell it in the air. There is something about the down side of summer you can just tell Fall is right around the corner.

....I'm so excited I scored some Steeler tickets for DH for the Cleveland game..I was gonna wait till his B-Day (in OCT) to tell him I but only made it a day...I am so bad at keeping surprises. Christmas is hell on me...

Thought I would drop ya'll a line to let you know we didn't get blown away by Fay yesterday. In fact we only got just a slight breeze and a little rain out od the whole ordeal.

Well, I better get back to work. The ol' boss is looking at me weird again. He can't expect me to work ALL day long................can he?!?!?!!

I listened to our weather report last night after I got home from work. The ol' weatherman said that the drought index they use to measure drought conditions across the nation showed that Florida is now out of the drought we were in. Uhhhhhhhhhhh..............ya think!!!!!!!! Because of Fay we probably have gotten all of the rain we need for the year in just 1 week!!!!! She really dumped the rain on us.

Haven't seen much activity on here lately. Hope everyone is OK. I still haven't been able to get over and read Mary's blog of her Panama crossing. Going to have to do that this week-end. All take care and keep thinking those Disney thoughts and having those Disney dreams. Talk to ya'll again soon.
