Right my friends are finally getting themselves sorted for their trip to our wedding in December, they want to come for 10 nights, probably the 23rd Dec to Jan 2nd, but need to keep the cost down for them and a lot of the best deals are 2 weeks packages. They aren't hiring a car so proximity to Disney is important for the hotel. Anyone know of any good places to look for a 10 night trip?

ive only ever booked with virgin when ive wanted to do trips that arent the classic 14 night packages, they have some good miles plus money flights for dec last time i looked if they have any of them?

No they don't.

With those dates nowhere is going to be cheap as it is peak time, flight alone with VA is £617 each. But as soon as they do find a price they are happy with I would say book it before it goes.

Claire ;)

Just to add Expedia with VA are showing as £847

For those dates you'll need to look at indirect flights for semi-decent prices....direct's not going to come in cheap!

:scared1:

We went 25th Dec~3rd Jan this last Xmas, VH package £580pp, was without car though

Trouble is the packages have all been out for a good 6 months so any great prices will have gone and with the exchange rate being as it is nothing is going to be as cheap as last year.

I have been trying to get them to book.

I have been trying to get them to book.

I guess if they have not decided til now they only have themselves to blame for the cost rising.

I have found the Courtyard By Marriott at Lake Buena Vista for £815 flying indirect with US Airways.

On site at WDW through Expedia is all showing booked and I am not surprised really.

Thanks Claire, you can get Pop through VH for £1400 pp.

Oh I've just thought I might be able to get a discount for Expedia holidays through work.

Couldn't pay £900 for 10 nights. Would have to be indirect for me.
Indirect £461 is best I can see just now. £611 direct Virgin.
Maybe find cheaper with a bit of searching.

Plus the Courtyard at Palm parkway is offering 3rd night free so is about $750/£500 for the 10 nights.
