Welcome to my Pre-Trip Report. This is my first attempt at a report like this so please be gentle :rotfl:

We recently received the 20/30/40 pin code in an email from Disney Destinations and decided to book our second trip to Disney World for June of 2010. Thanks to the pin code, we were able to afford 10 nights in a studio at Bay Lake Towers from June 6th-16th.

Here is the cast of characters:

Me:

I am a 33 year old High School Band and Choir Director that was born and raised in California but currently residing in Nevada. An avid lover of Disneyland and now Disney World as well.

DH:

33 Year Baseball Lover. Grew up in Southern California and loves all things Disney as well.

Mommy's little angel:rolleyes1 Loves pirates and all things Pixar. Favorite part of our last trip was the pool at SSR. So glad we spent all that money to swim. :lmao:

We just booked our trip on Tuesday so we are in the initial planning stages. We book our ADR's on Dec 8th (we are doing the DDP) so I will update with those.

Today the resort changing bug bit me as I contemplated the amount we were spending on BLT for 10 nights, granted, we saved over $2000 due to the 40% off pin code but when compared to CBR which is $1500 cheaper....well let's just say I started calculating the number of Mickey bars and dole whips I could have with that money:lmao:

After a lot of discussion and deliberation, we decided to stay with BLT. The convenience of the monorail just made it too hard to pass up. We also made out first payment of $1000 so we are on our way. :cool1:

Today brought with it a ton of change. Today was a snow day for us. This is not a big deal for some but living in Nevada this was huge. We are currently sitting on 14 inches of snow at our house. DH and I are both teachers and this is the first snow day we have had in 10 years of teaching. We were orginally planning on leaving on June 6th but now are faced with the possibility of having to make up days so we decided to extend our trip by 3 nights on the other end in case we had to knock off some days on the front end. However, when I called Disney there weren't any standard studios at BLT available. Our only option was to upgrade the entire 13 nights to a Lake view studio :scared1:

Well we bit the bullet and changed our resort to the CBR. We decided to book a preferred room. I really hope we enjoy the resort. I am a little nervous about it to be honest.

We do get to book our ADR's tomorrow though and are very excited. I plan on taking a long nap this afternoon so I can get up at 3:00 am. :goodvibes

Well I am definitely glad that we added some days as we just got the call tonight and we are going to have a second snow day tomorrow. I think we will definitely be making up days in June :sad2:

The good news is that I can get up at 3 am to make our dining reservations and then crawl back into bed without having to go to work in the morning.

Here is what we are hoping to get:

Breakfast:
Chef Mickey's
190 Park Faire

Lunch:
Sci-Fi

Dinner:
Le Cellier
Beirgarten
Ohana
Coral Reef
Kona
Liberty Tree Tavern
Whispering Canyon Cafe
Turf Club
The Wave
Teppan Edo

Just wanted to wave at you from my snow-covered house in Sparks! I can't believe how COLD it is tonight!:wave2:

Not looking forward to this :drive: tomorrow!

So much has changed since my last update! We still have no word as to whether we will be making up the snow days or not so we decided to move the trip dates just in case. We are now staying June 12-26 (yep I snuck a few more days on :rolleyes1) at CBR. :cheer2:
