Hello! This will be my first trip to Disney with kids. We know we want to stay on-site since we will not be renting a car. We will have a 6yo and a 10 mo in a pnp. We were originally thinking of a Music or AoA suite, but we're now leaning towards a single at a moderate. Alternatively, I can get friends and family rate for the Holiday Inn at DD. They are on-site but not a Disney resort, so we'd have transportation but lose the other resort perks.
I am wondering, if we go single room, will we be able to put the kids to sleep and then comfortably sit outside the room for an hour or two? (Weather permitting.) How well does a pnp fit in these standard rooms? We are probably just going to bring ours rather than count on one being available at the resort.
I know I can call, but thought I'd ask while I'm here...I know CBR has king rooms, perhaps some other moderates do, too. Does anyone know if we could get a king with the pull down Murphy bed? If so, would that be a bit roomier option with the pnp?
Maybe we should be thinking of something entirely different? We don't want to spend a fortune (ie deluxe or villa), but we don't need to be budget either. We want to have a comfortable room that will meet the need of baby nap time and both kids going to bed before us.
Thanks!
