10% Downpayment with an add-on?

We are starting to think about purchasing additional points to our original contract. And we think we want to add on with BCV points through DVC directly.

My question is, Does DVC require a downpayment on an add-on?

Yes they do. I would call my guide for specifics.

I just read about Magical Beginnings, perhaps that would cover the down payment? I plan on calling this afternoon.

Actually they will no longer accept magical beginnings to use for the actual down payment, just to increase the amount of the down payment. I believe you have to put a minimum of 10% down with your own cash and then use magical beginnings to increase the amount of your down payment. This is how my guide explained it to me.
