10 Delicious Days of Deluxe Dining..Day5-Yachtmans Steakhouse-was it worth 2 credits?

I hate when the airlines mess with you like that. We had that happen in October and it drove me crazy. Also made us miss one of our TS meals. Well, I'd vote for EoS that first night, but B&C is good too. Tough decision.

Yeah, I know, it's tough we've never been to either and I'd love to try both.

Any other opinions out there??

For what it's worth if I had to choose between Earl of Sandwich and Beaches and Cream I'd go with B&C every time. It's not that the burgers will knock your socks off, but the desserts are wonderful. If you like chocolate and peanut butter order the No Way Jose - my hubby and I always split one of these and they are delicious!

No Way Jose!

Have a great trip ... eat good food ... take lots of pictures ... and post here as soon as possible! :lmao:

I cannot wait till you report on Yachtman's Steakhouse. I love that place. Love your little Zoe Belle. Maybe you could split sandwiches at EOS and then have the kitchen sink a little later.

Yeah, I think we're leaning in the B&C direction. The desserts look fabulous and I hear that the burgers are pretty great too. That picture judst may make up our mind!!

We're really looking forward to Yachtman's Steakhouse as well. I can't wait to try try the filet and the creme brulee. It's closer to the beginning of our trip, too, so we may still actually be hungry then. :)

I never thought to split the sandwiches. That's a great idea. I'll have to try to convince my husband though. He hates sharing his food. It's like a lion after the kill with him, with all the growling and everything. :rotfl:

I hear ya all sounds good.

Thanks!!

Just keep showing him the picture of that kitchen sink, that may help him with the sharing part. With the growling part your on your own, I will keep my hands and fingers please.:cutie:

cute stich
my husband is just like yours. It has taken him 9 years to come around to share much of anything. He is just now starting to take on to the sharing. They way he liked to share before was he would eat his and eat what was left of mine. :lmao:

That is exactly what my husband is like!! I think he's angry when I actually FINISH my meal and he doesn't get to eat my leftovers!!

From one Canadian to another, I am in!!!!

I am leaning towards DxDDP too when I go in Feb 2010, so this will help me see what I will be getting!

By the way, that picture of the Sundae at Beaches and Cream made me put in on my to do list too! Is it on DDP as well or pay OOP?

Hello!! Thanks for joining us!! the no way Jose would be included on DDP if you ate a meal there. It would beyour dessert. The kitchen sink you have to pay OOP for.

YEAH MANITOBA!!! I just found your report today and realized you left today! As I sit here, I am picturing you at Beaches and Cream:woohoo:

Your plans sounds amazing....we can make our ADR's next week.....I can't wait:cool1: We are there Aug 10 - 30 on the DDP, I do love the plan, it makes things so much easier when we're there and I don't have to budget for food, I can spend it on shopping:banana:

Can't wait to hear all about it!!!!

The line up looks great, and I will bet you are excited!! You get to leave any minute now? Lucky...I still have to wait 28 days...but have a great time and eat lots of food!

We're home...:sad1: and I'm at work already...so sad!!

We had a fabulous time and we ate tons and tons AND tons of food...I don't think I ever want to see food again...last night I even dreamt about appetizers!!

Anyway, I plan to have an update up by Thursday as I work until then and I need to grocery shop and get my non vacation life back in order. I took over 1000 pictures...probably half of them food...so get ready for some greta food porn.

So hang in there an update is soon on it's way!!
