Ok, even though I have purchased 10 day park hoppers as part of my "Come back offer" for our ten night stay. We are planning to do a few days at the H20 parks as we have some unexpired "PLUS" features on a non-exiration pass we purchased in the past. We are also staying an extra 3 nights on a room only rate to get a little more out of our vacation.

So, my question is: If my 10 day tickets are on my Room Keys and they become inactive after I check out, how do I get to use the remaining days on my 10 day pass for the extra days I am at WDW? The restriction of the expiring pass is all days must be used by the end of 14 days or they are lost. So, do I ask for separate tickets from my room keys or are they still usable.

We usually use APs but the free food offer is making us want to try this and save our next set of APS for a future trip.

Thanks in adavace for all of your assistance!!!

What type of ticket did you buy. If you bought Non expiring ones they will still be good even though you have check out.

You can have the unused days transfered to your new room keys on the second ressie. We did last summer spent 3 days at POP bought 10 day tickets and after check in at AKL had the days transfered to our new room keys.

As the above poster said, you can have your tickets transferred from your old reservation keys to your new reservation keys, or just use your old keys as your tickets. All new tickets (Magic Your Way) expire 14 days from date of first use, regardless of when you check out and when your room key "expires". It only "expires" in the sense that you are no longer a resort guest, and cannot take advantage of the extra magic hours.

For a full two weeks, or for your lifetime if you bought non-expiration, the unused ticket admissions, even if still on the room key, can be used.

You can transfer the admissions to a new room key for a new stay after all of the admissions (if any) on that room key have been used up.

If on some days you go into water parks only, you may well get 13 or 14 days of Disney fun out of one 10 day ticket with the water park option added.

Vacations with 11 to 13 days in the theme parks are one of the few times when using up theme park days on an old ticket and also using any new (10 day expiring, here) ticket is not a waste of money.

Did you have to purchase such a long ticket to qualify for the free dining under the come back offer? When we did the free dining last year and the year before we had APs and booked the reservation with a one-day-one-park ticket. We saved our tickets from 8/05 and upgraded them into APs on 12/05 and we saved our 1-day passes from 8/06 and we're going to upgrade them to 10-day passes this month.
