10 Day No Expiration Tickets on Room Key?

When my DD and I went in January we had the MYW tickets on our room key, which was nice in a way. It was all tied to one card for each of us, however one of the cards did get erased during our trip. We did not get the no expiration option, however.

I might go next month with my 6yo, and if I do I'm thinking of getting the 10 day tickets, with the no expiration option. I would be saving about 1/2 the days for future use.

I have a couple questions. Would those tickets still be on the room key and if so, how would I keep them from getting erased between this trip and the next trip? I know the park days don't expire--when the day comes that we use all the park days and we still have some pluses left, those will not expire until we use them, correct?

Thanks!

Yes you can still get these on your room key. As far as them being "erased" they can become "demagnitized" which would cause them to be unreadable in the turnstiles, but they do not "erase" persay. The long number that is underneath your name (starts with 00 ... not the 99 number at the bottom of the card) is the entitlement number. Your tickets are actually corolated to that number, not the card. The number itself can be transfered to a new card and or re-programmed in the case it does become demagnitized. So as long as you have the card there are no worries about losing your tickets. And yes, you are correct, the plus visits are seperate from the park visits. If you have not used all the plus visits you can still use them whether you have park days remaining or not (provided you have the no expiration option)

Thanks! That makes sense about the number and now I understand how they could still read the key when we somehow demagnitized my DD's card. Not sure how we did that one because it was with mine, not near the cell phones, etc. But it all worked out.

What I did was just report my Room Keys as lost before check-out. That way we had cards that were not put through machines, or mishandled.

Did they then give you more room keys or did they give you regular tickets?
