10 day MYW tickets

We're considering buying 10 day MYW premium passes with hopper and no exp. from Ticketmania. Excuse this silly question, but I just wanted to make certain my assumptions are correct. The negative of the 10 day ticket seems to me to be the large initial outlay of cash. It seems to be the best deal on a cost per day basis. We plan on using 4-5 days of the ticket on our trip this month and the rest of the days next year or the following year.

Now, the premium feature confuses me. We get 5 trips total to the waterparks or DQ? We plan on visiting one water park each visit and perhaps DQ. If we go to TL and MK in one day, do we use 2 days of our ticket if we have the hopper feature? Is the 5 trip thing separate from the 10 days of park admissions? Can you use up all 10 days and still have 5 water park visits?

Thanks for any help you can give.

You can hop to the 4 theme parks as many times as you'd like in one day, and it's still one day of admission. The water parks/DQ are separate, and each visit counts as one plus. Visiting the MK and TL in one day uses one day (out of ten) of admission and one plus (out of five). You could use all 10 days of admission and still have plus days left.

LOL. I was just as confused as you were! I'll try my best though:

You have 10 days to the parks (i.e. MK, AK, Epcot, MGM). You also have 5 days to the extras (waterparks, PI, DQ). If you went to MK in the morning and DQ in the evening, you would use 1 day off of the parks and 1 day of your extras. NOW, if you went to BB in the morning and DQ in the evening, you don't get park hopping. You would have used 2 days of your extras. Hope this helps! :wave2:

Many thanks! That's what I thought it was all about...just wanted to make sure. I think I'll order our tickets today. Now, I just have to figure out dining and we're ready to go!! I like the change of seasons here in Ohio and even like winter, but once it's March I get pretty tired of scraping off my car and shovelling snow. Ugh.

Hi fellow Snow Bunny! Still digging out of the 14" of new snow that fell yesterday.

Can you please let us know how much with tax and shipping your 10 day tickets are? I am also purchasing the 10 day tickets with plans on using 6 of the left over days in the future. We are not getting the hopper of plus feature because we rarely hop and we still have 4 plus features on old Park Hoppers. So far the best price I found was from the Official Ticket Center, a sponsor on this site.

I can't complain about our snow to you folks in Twinsburg. You really got hit! We're on the lake, so it wasn't so bad. Right now, Ticketmania has a free shipping deal... takes 8-12 days by US mail. They charge $25 for 3 day express shipping. We're getting the plus and hopping feature, but I noticed the 10 day nonexpire WITHOUT hopping or plus is $318 w/free shipping. I've never ordered from them before, but I've heard good reports on these boards.

Sprins is coming! Hang in there.

We recently bought 10-day passes from Ticketmania and had a good experience. Make sure you CAREFULLY check your order when it arrives because we ordered 3 passes but only received 2. (All companies are human and make a mistake from time to time.) This issue was resolved. If you subscribe to the mousesavers.com newsletter, you'll save a couple more bucks.

Thanks, you may want to check with the Official Ticket Center. I have a quote on the 10 day nonexpire without hopping or plus of $306.00, shipping is $10.00 per order so for the 2 tickets that we need the total will be $311.00. If you go to the home page of this site the ticket price link will take you to their site.

I love the season changes and would not give that up for anything but it
does get old pretty fast. It sure looks pretty though!

When is your trip?

I guess you'd have to call the Official Ticket Center for their 10-day base ticket that doesn't expire, because I don't see it listed on their site. I'd rather pay $340 (Ticket Mania - free shipping) and have the option to park hop.

Easter week. We're driving down Good Friday, spending a few days with relatives and at spring training, then heading to WDW for 5 nights. We're ready for crowds! I'll check Official Ticket Center, too. Thanks!

When are you going down?

As we get closer to the trip I will debate the hopping feature for the additional $29.00. We only hop once for every trip that we have done. As you go more and more I find that hopping is not necessary so I can spend the money saved on a good meal.
