This day is going to be less detailed (Thank God, most of you are saying!) since I don't have the navigator for this day, and the details have faded. But here's what I remember.

I know I did the 7:30 walking group, and I think this was the day Ken's wife Shari joined us. Family was still dead to the world, so I had breakfast, then I went to the Promenade lounge and played Scattergories with the cruise staff. I joined with another family who's mom was still sleeping. We were the "Burnt Ducks" in honor of the Dad's T-shirt which had a sun-burned Donald. Fellow DISers Herc10 and his wife Ruth were playing also. Our team won, and my DH joined us just as they were passing out the pin and keychains to the winning team. Never one to turn down anything free from Disney, I promptly gave the pins to the kids for trading.

I think we all went to Parrot Cay for lunch that day. I know we met our old server one day in Parrot Cay for lunch and it was either Key West day or this day. I congratulated Boris on his promotion, and he said he hadn't started yet, but was just back on the right rotation when the position is official. I asked him about Denis (who was his asst server when we had them), and it turned out he was on the same rotation, and Boris just hadn't seen him yet. Both of them looked really good and it was great to touch base with them.

We had a DIS craft workshop in the afternoon where we met in Promenade lounge and Linda (seaulater) handed out scrapbook kits while I taught crocheting. DD didn't want to go to that so I went alone. This was the beginning of the timeframe that DD decided that she just wanted to watch TV in the stateroom. After we finished crafting, I picked up DD and we went to the Christy Carlson Romano Q&A and autograph session. It was very nice, and we were able to get our autograph relatively quickly since DD was in the 2nd row. I don't know how long Christy stayed to sign autographs, but there were an awful lot of people in that theater, and they said she signed for everyone who was there. While I was waiting for DD to make it through the line, I was talking to Linda (seaulater) about the session. Christy had mentioned that Marie Osmond was a role model for her, and it turns out that Linda knows that family, so she said she would let them know. Next thing you know, the lady next to me pipes up saying "I'm Christy's mom, and let me tell you how wonderful Marie was when Christy was in Sound of Music". Boy was that the coolest thing! Her mom confirmed that Christy and the dancers had never met before the day of the concert and she said that they had practiced all day for the show. I told her how much my DD had enjoyed her visit to the lab the night before, then DD was up at the autograph table, so I left.

After that, DH and I went to the rhythm extreme workshop in the late afternoon, and we couldn't get either child to come with us. It was a lot of fun, and we were able to talk to the performers for a while afterwards. I asked where they stayed on the ship, and they said that they were just like guests, and had two rooms (2 guys and 2 girls) on Deck 5. She said "we've got KTTW cards and everything!" That night, I saw 2 of them coming into our dining room, and we waved. OhioMickey and his son Nick were in our group of drummers, and we all had a great time banging out our rhythm on trash can lids and using the large sticks!

I think this was the night they showed Hercules, and Taylor Mason did the adult cabaret show. I don't think they had a family cabaret show that night, so DD probably did karoake again. I also think that was the day that DS did the animation cells in the lab.

This was a really nice relaxing day, but I was ready to see land.

Oh my gosh...are you talking about the scattegories game?? i played in that game!! my dad and i were the pirates.pirate::earboy2: we were the West Germany people. i told my dad that that wasn't a very good answer and that it wasn't a country anymore...but hey...we still got the points!:D :earboy2: Willy Wonka isn't a company...he's a man...a very famous man at that.:earboy2: just because he's fictional doesn't mean he isn't famous.;):earboy2:

Such details...I don't know how you all remember anything so well. I can't even remember what happened yesterday here. I don't know how I am going to write a trip report when my time comes. It will probably be short, but if anyone asks me a question later it might jiggle my mind! We are on one of the first West Coast cruises so I know people will want to know what things are going on then. Keep up the good reports!

Actually Willy Wonka was derived from the book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. There is a Willy Wonka (real person) but he's a postal worker in the U.K. :groom:

They're supposed to be doing a remake of the movie soon and there are rumors that Johnny Depp will be W.W. this time.

And Wonka is a candy company and I make them MoFo's VERY rich during Halloween!

That's true...they do actually make Wonka bars... it's not a rumor that Johnny Depp is Willy Wonka...it's the truth. i think they're already done filming it...but i'm not sure...

Ooooh they make more then just Wonka bars. They make 'Runts', 'Nerds', 'Laffy Taffy', 'Bottlecaps', 'Fun dip'......dayum I just gave maself a sugar headache thinking about all them. :faint: :crazy2: :headache:

Yeah I know about all those candies too...must've slipped my mind that they were made by the Willy Wonka company.
