Hi!

I have noticed many thread that were asking if DCL (or else) were good for teens. I thought you'd like that article:

https://www.familyvacationcritic.com/10-best-ships-for-teens/art/

They named:

1) Royal Caribbean Symphony of the Seas
2) Carnival Horizon
3) Norwegian Joy
4) Disney Magic
5) Norwegian Getaway
6) Emerald Princess
7) Royal Caribbean Anthem of the Seas
8) Carnival Vista
9) MSC Grandiosa
10) Disney Dream

As much as I love Oasis class ships, it seems too soon for Symphony to be best anything.

April. So it’s likely about 6 months in service before they compiled their ratings.

It just feels like too small a sample size to say it’s *the* best ship for teens.

I don't know. Maybe the families who had the chance to sail on her are very enthusiastic about it. :)

Maybe they're using Harmony as a base and then adding in the additional features such as Laser Tag?
We'll be on Symphony in March. Can't wait!

I dunno, I've been on the Emerald Princess ... it was okay?
And I'm pretty sure the MSC Grandiosa hasn't even been completed yet.

It’s possible, but then that’s extrapolation and not a true gauge of things.

And it’s not that I’m assuming that the teen club is The Worst. It’s more asking if there was enough of a sample size to make the determination to rank it.

I've only cruised on DCL. How easy is it to do the attractions on the other cruise line's ships? Do you just show up and get in line or do you have to sign up for a specific time beforehand? Do the lines move quickly or are they hours long? Are you able to do all the attractions or do you miss out because there's so many people all trying to do them? I realize it can vary, but just wondering about other's experiences. Thanks

We were on the Vista and done most attractions on sea days with 40 min wait or less. No worst that the way for the Aquaduck (which we waited 60 min for).

Glad to hear you were able to do the attractions. A co-worker of my dh recently went on a cruise (I don't know which line) and was complaining that they couldn't do any of the attractions because of all the people. My dh didn't know exactly what the complaining was about. 40 mins wait time is not bad at all. My dd is 10 yrs old and still enjoys DCL, but doesn't care about any of the characters anymore, so we'll probably check out some other lines in the future. Of course, I still want to go on the 3 new DCL ships first!!
