10/4/08-Buccaneers Take the West! Cruiser List in Post #1

Unfortunately, my 1 outta 3 isn't going to help me much! Guess I should just go on to bed!

I was able to book Palo Tea :cool1: for Monday. It was the only Palo I wanted to book.

But we have 5 in our party & it would only let me book 4 of us :confused3 . So I guess I will have to try & get the other person booked onboard. Or I could let everyone else go & I could get some peace & quiet, which I'm sure I will probably need by then :rotfl: .

Also registered the kids in the lab. I was all finished in 10 mins again (took about the same amount of time last week for our 1st cruise week)

Hope everyone else was able to get what they wanted :goodvibes .

Tania

I got my brunch and when I wanted it. We decided we wanted to do our spa and brunch the morning of Key West. That was the only brunches left at 1 AM. I feel asleep trying to stay up but it is all good in the end. Now I have to find the time to complete the on line papers and get them printed for both cruises for us and my sisters cruise. I have a couple of months to get that done. Lois

Well, I failed in my attempt at getting brunch on Monday - and ended up with Sunday at 10:30. But, at least I know where I went wrong I think. I was logged in by 11:00 EST and just kept refreshing the window. I never had the option to book brunch for 3-4 people (which was my task with our budding Jan and Dave). I finally opened another browser and low and behold - 3-4 was an option. But it was probably 12:15 by then and all that was left was Sunday so I took it. So now what do we do??? I hate to cancel and try again at the next window so I think we will just keep what we have on Sunday.

And all of this means that the Monday group doesn't have enough for the private room nor does the Sunday group.

I was wondering, does anyone know when the formal night is on this cruise? I will probably change my Palo dinner to that night.

From what I can tell from some Navigator's I have read, this is what our dining looks like:
Saturday - Casual - rotational menu
Sunday - Casual - rotational menu
Monday - Formal - rotational menu
Tuesday - Casual - Master Chef
Wednesday - Pirate Night (who all is dressing in pirate costumes)
Thursday - Semi-formal - Captain's Gala
Friday - Casual - 'Til We Meet Again

Hi All, been missing in action, I know. I forgot all about making my ressies at midnight, got up at 9 and rush to make them. I got a dinner at Palo for Monday night 6 pm formal night. We'll still be able to make our reg. dinner with our DD.
I'll keep trying for brunch and High Tea.
Got all the excursions that Geneva wanted.

Oh!!!! I went back to work. I won my cases and started back on the 3rd, now let's hope I can have off for the cruise.

See you all soon.

Does anyone else have a Monday brunch? Steve and i got 10:30.

Ginger,

Steve and I have Palo for Monday at 6:00 as well. I don't do the formal thing very well.

Jan, Dave, David (my Dave) and I have Palo ressie's for dinner on Monday (thanks Jan) at 7:00. Our brunch is Sunday at 10:30 - Lois, what time is yours? Maybe we can hook up.

Pirate Night - David and I both have costumes from the Southern but his would be huge since he lost all that weight but (sorry to report) mine will probably be fine (or close enough anyway). I will have to get something for him.

Take care all and enjoy your day. I will copy what I posted about dinners to post 4 and add ashore and aboard times as well. Just makes planning a bit easier.

We got 10:00 but if we talk with them once on board I am sure we can move you all up and we can go together. I suggest moving you to 10 so we will have more time to eat before we go into port. At Key West we are just walking around. Might hit up a few museums but not for sure. Interested? Lois

I got Palo's Brunch on Thursday, but I could only get it for us. I'll try to get it for my SIL, neice and friend on July 21. It would only let me do it for 1-4 people and I need it for 6 people. If I'm not able to get it for my SIL do you think they will let me give my reservation to her once we get on board? That's her birthday and I wanted to do something special, so if we can't all go together I'd like her and her daughter and friend to go instead of us. Pam

I am really pleased. Yesterday I put my nose to the grindstone and made our fish extender. This baby is Really far from perfect. I still need to get the hanging rod and add the hanging ribbon, but otherwise we are ready to sail.

And without further ado:

Very cute Lauren! I love the orange fabric you used for the pockets. I haven't yet decided if I want to make my own, or order off of ebay. I love the ones that are embroidered!

Thanks! It was fun to make, though I can certainly see it becoming unwieldy to make (at least for me) with more than two pockets. The ones you will find on ebay will certainly look more professional! :thumbsup2

Simo... you had asked a few days ago about food allergies. I saw this on another thread, and thought it might help.

We had a wonderful experience with dinner. Fritz was the dining room manager and our servers were Gede and Carolina. (We were on the Magic) Fritz met with us when we got seated our first night and said that he would personally see that we were taken care of. Gede would have menus for the next night available for me to look at and I could pick what I wanted for the next night. If there was something that I really wanted, but had some of the allergens in it, he would go ahead and place my order, and the chef would make it seperately for me without the items...AND Fritz was aware and would check with me to make sure that it was to my liking.

I had my DD's pediatrician fill out a medical form with her allergies on it. I filled out my own and faxed them to guest relations attn medical dept before we sailed and the dining room staff were aware when we went to dinner. The communication was excellent.

Thank you for sharing that. I have only read good things about their handling of food allergies. My daughter is really very good about accepting that there are things she cannot eat (has had food allergies since her birth) - but it is no fun to watch other people eat stuff you can't have either. I was hoping that they'd be at least informed about what is in things so that we wouldn't have to avoid a bunch of stuff just because we did not know. Anyone who's dealt with food allergies can probably relate!

I must be getting close to 10 posts here? :)
