I was delighted when I managed to snag an A&E FP 30 days out...but it's for 10:30 pm. I'm not sure how coherent my 4-year-old (the youngest and the one who will be most excited to see them) will be at that point, plus I have read here and elsewhere that standby wait times at that hour might not be that long anyway.

We're doing 2 MK days, and are thinking of trying to get to A&E standby in the am first thing on our first MK day, with an 8:05 Crystal Palace breakfast (already have a thread on strategies for that here). The wait may be longer but the kids will be fresh and, you know, actually be conscious enough to enjoy it. If we're successful, I'll obviously cancel the next day's A&E FP then via my phone and snag something else, but I'm wondering if I should just let the late-night FP go now and try to pick up a good time for something like BTMRR or Splash Mountain? We already have 7DMT at a more reasonable 7 pm, and PPF, Space Mountain, ETWB as well.

After my midnight triumph nailing this FP down it feels like a crime to consider letting it go, but I don't want to hold onto it just to hold onto it, either. Decisions decisions...

1. thinking of trying to get to A&E standby in the am first thing on our first MK day,

2. I don't want to hold onto it just to hold onto it...

1. Do that.
2. If you do accomplish #1 above, release the 10:30PM FP+.
