Were we separated out in groups? Did I miss that one? I haven't started with my FE gifts yet because I'm not sure how many I need to get.

I cannot believe we are four months away from this trip!!!

No, I asked to participate in the large group so I'm assuming most of the list will be in my grouping. I also don't plan to give the same gift to every cabin/kids so for the most part I've made or purchased everything I plan to give. If need be I'll pick up things closer to our sail date, if I don't have the right items on hand. I'll be doing some cabin gifts and some individual including one gift that is specifically for adults.

I like to work ahead otherwise its too overwhelming for me the month leading up to vacation.

Anyone try to check in today? Website won't allow me to do this... not that I have to today but also wanted to check out the activities but I can't do that either.

Are you platinum? Only platinum can check in now, at 120 days. Gold is 105 days, silver is 90 days. I am platinum but I haven't paid it off yet, so I can't check in because of that lol. I am going to pay it off at the end of the week. If you are platinum and still can't get in, I will let you know what results I had getting in after I pay it off.

Your right, I'm only silver. The weird thing is that I received an email from DCL reminding me to check in. I just assumed I could do it now. O'well, plenty of time...

Oh my gosh! I didn't even notice it said 8:30 PM! That would be awesome if that were true! I was wondering why we were leaving Nassau so early. When I checked the port schedule, Nassau is not full on that day: Carnival Fantasy, Carnival Sensation, Disney Magic, and Norwegian Getaway, so it is not like we need to make room for another ship (I've been there with 7 ships before... yeesh). AND we could definitely make it to CC from Nassau in 4 hours. WEE! Now the curiosity is going to do me in.

Edit: Of course, it could also mean we are just leaving Nassau early and will go at a snail's pace towards Castaway Cay, haha! I guess we shall see!

Checked the itinerary on my PIF receipt and it "unfortunately" is showing Saturday's Castaway Cay day arrival as 8:30AM not 8:30PM.
Oh well, we can always wish can't we.
I'm surprised we're leaving Nassau so early. It's usually later than that. We have been in port at Nassau
on a couple of previous cruises till 2:00am while they let the crew have some time off.

Group 2 is not complete yet. There are a number of cabins that have signed up originally but haven't checked in on here for quite a long time. I need to know if you are still interested.

Hello! First time cruisers AND first family vacation with our young kiddos! Excited and nervous. Was hoping maybe someone has some advice. My youngest will turn 2 on Halloween, which we are excited to celebrate on the ship with all of you, but it does pose some transportation questions. We will use a carseat for the flights and car rides, but once on the boat we won't need it, would they let us check it during the cruise and pick up as disembarkment? Or would we be required to store it in our room the whole time? And if so, is there enough room for it somewhere out of the way, since we will also have a 4 year old and a pack and play?
Also any airport or Miami transportation tips/ideas with little kids would be greatly appreciated. Lots to figure out, but I am so ready for this vacation! Thanks in advance.

Hi, I think you need to have a few more posts before it will let you send private messages, I checked and it would not let me send you a message either. Try doing a few test posts either on this thread or on other threads it might work if you get to ten posts.
