10:25 depature.... to early?

More than likely we will be using DCL transfers. Have a choice between 10:25am and 11:55 am on USAirways

The later flight is $30 more per person, but that extra savings could be helpful when multiplied by 8 people!
I have read the latest you can get off the ship (if it's on time) is 9am.....

I would go with 11:55 a.m.

If you do a search, you'll find people bragging about how quickly they got off ship, how soon they got onto transportation to the airport, how early they arived at the airport, and how rapidly they passed through security.

But do you really want to count on everything going perfectly?

For a 10:25 a.m. flight, you would need to get to the front of the check-in line at the airport before 9:25 a.m. to check your bags. (I don't think they'll check your bags at the port for a flight that early, even if your airline is represented at the port.)

Thats no a problem just found and booked Delta for $40 less per person!

Good job with the Delta flight.

I too was going to recommend the 11:55 a.m. flight. ESPECIALLY if you are using DCL transportation. You cannot count on DCL transportation to get you out and to the airport very early.

You have to take into account anything that could happen on the way to the airport, the travel time, security clearance, etc. I would not schedule anything before 11:30 a.m. for a return flight.

Just got back from the Magic and we rented a car and arrived at the airport by 9:30. We ate breakfast at 6:45 and were the 3rd family off of the ship. We made our 10:50 flight
