Happy Birthday Paige. :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: Have a great day. Your surprise party sounded fun. Walt and my girls had one for me when I turned 50 and I was totally surprised.

Happy Birthday Paige Have a great day.:cheer2:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAIGE!!!

party: :bday: party:

Welcome to the 40's club. 1968 was a great year, wasn't it? :thumbsup2

What are you reading? I'm always looking for new books. I average 2 books a week! I'm a voracious reader.

Yes, what Shelley posted ... what are you reading Cass? :rolleyes1

Odd Thomas, by my favourite writer Dean Koontz. I finished it last night and cried throughout the entire last chapter :sad1: :headache:  I have NEVER cried at the end of any of his books, and I've read a lot of them.

That was the first of 3 books he wrote that follows the same main character, I am about to start book number two and I had better not be crying at the end of this one

Fab job Cass!
I love the way you did your names in the blank one - I know I'm a real pain but I'd love one with our names in if possible and not too time consuming for you:flower3: - I wouldnt know where to start - you're my hero:worship:

Absolutely no problem Karen, just let me know which one you want (the door sign one I am guessing?) and what specific names you want on there and it will be done :thumbsup2

Cass is the brillinat one - I just found the jack 'o lantern Mickey online - she added the writing!

Finding great clipart is more than half the battle Jen :goodvibes

Cass - by the way, I forgot to ask you...

What program do you use for designing the logos, etc., and is it the same program you use for digital scrapbooking?

I use photoshop for all my design work :thumbsup2

Jen & Cass: that mick-o-lantern doorsign is awesome! I may just have to figure out to to make a doorsign now ... :scared:

With your creativity, I can't wait to see what you come up with ::yes::

You're an  - yes please - the door sign - Could you do it similar to yours please - Karen Mouse, Neil and Ellis all in the fancy writing like you've done your Timon?

Whatever works and is easiest for you is absolutely fine by me - You're the design guru so I trust you!:thumbsup2 - thank you so much:hug:

My door would be very "amateurish" if you werent around:rolleyes1 - I would just pretend Ellis had made the stuff I produced:rotfl:

Thanks again Cass - theres no hurry :goodvibes

Heather - not sure if you'll log in tonight or if you're even interested, but theres a great deal on ebuyer.com - a treadmill for £29.99! - today only - reduced from £75!

If you order something else too to make the order £49.99 or more (I ordered ink ready to print my doorsigns!) the postage is free too!:yay:

I love a bargain! Heres to 10,000 steps a day:yay:

Hi Kids!

We're having a really crappy weather day here in SE Wisconsin. Freezing rain with a sheet of ice under that. This morning we ran over to a store and I couldn't make it up the driveway which was on a slight incline. It was hilarious! I kept sliding back down towards the car. I was laughing so hard that my sides hurt! :lmao: :lmao: Chuck was laughing so hard he could barely stand it. He finally got out of the car to help but then we both looked like idiots. Someone should have been taping it. They could've made themselves a cool $10K on America's Funniest Home Videos! :rotfl2:

I don't know about the rest of you, but how about some pictures to look at?
Cass? I could use a little Kira fix. Mike & Robin, Jeff & Suz how about some more WDW pictures? Becky, any pics of Disneyland? Heather and Rick, is that video done yet? Paige, we need to see some evidence of last nights party.

Brenda, how about a Damned update?

Can you tell I'm home alone again and I'm on the 6th season of The Golden Girls and a little bored?

I could try out my Personal Tutorial to my PhotoShop Elements but my computer is p'ing me off today. BTW, those wedding cd's still need to be done. I'm hoping for a cheaper alternative to printing them out myself.

Yeah, what happened to our snow. The only thing worse than a lot of snow is an inch or more of ICE.

We're suppose to take DS to wrestling from 3:00-5:00, but I'm not sure if I want to venture out. I will see how the drive looks and decide from there.

You know that hill into my subdivision Nancy, there is now way, even with the SUV, I will make it up that if it is covered in ice.

Might be a stay in the house day. That's good, because I still have a ton of financial statements I need to get done today.

Oh, and as for snow blowing when the snow finally gets here, I will have to go out a couple of times with the small thrower since the large one will just spin its wheels on the ice.

Janice/Mark,

You guys on at all? How is the snow up that way? Looks like you have been in the snow belt for some time today. Just wondering how bad it is.

I pared your post down a bit MG ... I was going to update with our Le Cellier thing but I got distracted by a problem on the gastropod blog. By the time that was fixed it was now ... :lmao:

And we're taking Jay's parents out to dinner tonight... all my free time just went down the crapper.

Be safe up there - ice is no fun...I'd rather have the snow.

Hi Nancy...

We're having the same icky weather, with the added bonus of a flooding basement. :headache:  :sad2: :sad1:

First thing tomorrow (since they're not answering today- I tried) I'm going to have to call a basement waterproofing company for an estimate. I'm forseeing thousands of dollars to correct this problem, and doing everything from cancelling the Arizona/Disneyland trip this Christmas to baking cookies for everyone's Christmas presents to be able to afford it.

Sorry I'm such a downer today - needed to vent. :sad1:

Poor Jen ...

I feel your pain ... we've had problems with our basement for years (pretty much since we moved in and our house was built new). The concrete didn't cure right and the yard wasn't graded properly ... we still have cracks developing that are allowing water to seep in. We had to cancel last year's cruise to pay for a big fix, but we still have issues.

Good luck with everything - maybe it won't be as bad as you fear. :flower3:

I agree, more pics are needed ::yes::

Nancy, I'm sure you've made a lovely design and would hate to change it but have you thought of doing a plain design, maybe something with just text so that it doesn't take up very much ink? Just a thought :confused3

Cass, the signs look great. I would like to bother you for one, but I don't want to inconvenience you.

No inconvenience at all Jeff! Just let me know the exact text you would like on it and if you want any clipart on it and I will get it done :thumbsup2

Sorry Jen, that's pretty crappy to deal with :sad2:

Seems like everytime you guys get crappy weather, ours gets wonderful! It was PLUS 14º C the other day, I didn't even need a jacket :goodvibes
