Just got in for lunch.........

My lungs are actually burning from being out in this freezing cold all morning. Oh to be in Florida right now.........four weeks is not soon enough for me..........

Hazel walked outside to start the car so she can go food shopping, she came back in and said, "Hey, it's cold out there." You don't want to know what my response was................

Oh Andy stay safe please. I think there is a reason God placed me in CA, I hate cold, as much as I would love to live closer to the east coast BOBers I don't think I could survive the winters you go through. Stay as warm as you possibly can.

I am making a fish extender right now. I don't sew so I am using the woman's version of duct tape, the hot glue gun. It is simple looking(nothing compared to Karen's) but I did make it 2 sided, one side for every day and the other for pirate night. I'm planning on making a different one for BOB. I'll post a pic of it when I am done.

Yea, that about sums it up............we've made it up to +1*F windchill factor as of noon.............

I did manage to get about 70 houses done this morning, not as many as usual, but considering the weather, not too bad........

Bunko is a dice game. We are 16 women who play once a month. It's loads of fun!

Heather i believe it an American expression for "wife swapping"...that's right ain't it Paige....

No swapping needed tonight....it's all girls all the time...and of course we all look like supermodels.....we're even from a few different countries....We have UKers, Aussies, Canadians, and Americans........


So needless to say, when I was planning my menu, I started with a Levee Breaker......daiquiri on the bottom and a hurricane on top.......

To soak up all the alcohol, we will have:

Shrimp Fettuccini
Cabbage Casserole
Boiled Shrimp w/ Cocktail Sauce
Hot Crab dip
Veggie tray w/ dip
Fruit tray w/ dip
King Cake
Wine, beer, water, soda

So much for being a "loser" this week....

Good evening folks

Went to the gym today and did double the treadmill - (not all running though!)

I normally walk 1 minute then run 1 minute etc. I managed just under an hour - the last 15 mins were walking uphill gradient of 12 - was nearly falling off the back of the dreadmill - felt like a sheer cliff face but I did it then I swam a bit, then went into the restaurant and dissed on one of the pc's - couldnt even face the walk to the carpark straight away - my calves were screaming at me - good job I'm at the theatre tomorrow with Ellis - I'll be able to sit down for 2 hours

Karen - have you not been to a Michaels when out in Florida? Full of stickers like these.

For Karen and anyone else planning on hanging a fish extender they really like-
I just read on the main board about someone's door magnets and personalized fish extender getting stolen the last night of the cruise. Now, the magnets can usually be reprinted, but the fish extender is not so easily replaceable. A suggestion posted on the main board was to attach the FE to the fish with a plastic tie/zip tie/cable tie like these:

Just a thought - I'd hate for this to happen to any of my BOB friends...

Alternative suggestion attachto a 9 volt battery - if anyone tries to steal it they'll have have the shock of their lives and have hair like this .........
