O.K. Kids. Here is Thread #2 of who knows how many now. I will work to get the stuff off of the first thread to here. Until then, let's see how long it takes us to get this thread locked. At our rate, and the new standard, it would be once a month.

HERE IS THE FIRST POST FROM THE LAST THREAD (I'll try to pretty it up later. Also, I may start another thread that will just house the important links from the numerous threads we'll have, plus a link to the current thread in case anyone stumble to over there.):

O.K. I'll be back here to update this post periodically. I will try to keep important information up here for all to reference as well as for all our new friends who come to cruise with us.

We have dubbed this cruise "The Bash on the Boat" because so many people are celebrating birthdays or anniversaries on this cruise. You will also see "KK2" in the title. As you will read, many of us just sailed together on the 10/20/07 Western Cruise. So, with many of us returning here, we are dubbing this KK2. For those of you who didn't sail with us, please don't feel that you are not part of the group. We are a very open and welcoming/friendly bunch. We had such a great cruise last time, but feel it will be even better this time. Come along and enjoy the fun. We will get off-topic many times over the next 2 years, but it is a great way to get to know everyone.

First, here is the list of Characters:

arielhead = Tanya and DH with their DD (will be 14) and DS (will be 9). West Virginia.
B9erSteve = Steve and Laura. They will be traveling with their DS and DD. California.
CarrianneB = Carrianne and Rob with their 2 DS who will be 7 and 9. Wisconsin.
Cheryl N. WI = Cheryl and Al with their DD who will be 15. Wisconsin.
cntkg1 = Nancy and Chuck (a.k.a. Charlie Tuna). Wisconsin.
Disgrits = Paige and Rob. Virginia.
DISNEYDUET = Shelley and Woody. Virginia.
Dyerneeds/Tart Annihilator = Mike and Robin. Ohio.
goofyfreak = Lori and Scott with their 3 kids (also extended family). Virginia.
GOS = Heather and Rick. England.
hockeychic = Kim and her DD who will be 17. Canada.
JLDSMD = that is me, Jeff. I'm traveling with my wife, Suz and our DS who will be 9. Wisconsin.
Karen Mouse = Karen and Neil and their DS who will also be 9. England.
medicalman = Sean and Cath with their DD. England.
millerpjm = Jen and Pete with their DS who will be 6. Wisconsin.
minnieandmickey = Becky and Sean. California.
Oybolshoi = Brenda and Jason. Missouri.
ST Cruisers = Tony and Stacy. Wisconsin.
Team Fun Pants = Kristin and Jesse. Wisconsin.
Timon/Darkrobe = Cass and Rob. Canada.
tinkerbellmom1 = Sheri and Pat with 2 DS (17 & 15 at time of sailing). Nevada.
Walt & Di = Walt and Di (pretty easy to remember that one). Texas.
Verandah Man = Andy (a DIS board legend) and Hazel. New Jersey.

I will try to update that list as we go. If I forgot anyone or if you want different info posted, please PM me. I will NOT be putting room numbers up on this post.

Glad to see you Nancy and Andy.

This closing at 250 pages is going to cause several threads up there for the same date, with just the new one accessable. I just hope the leave the old one viewable. I think, however, that we may want to cut and past the important stuff here on BOB-2. Never know what next steps they will take.

With almost 20 months left, and the rate we post, it could be 20+ threads for us. We will do about 1 a month at the rate we're going - unless we decided to slow it down.

So, are we looking to keep this open as long as possible or should we see how quickly we can get closed.

Maybe we should start a "links" thread and only include the stuff we link to. If someone posts it on the thread, we can copy it to that thread and have it linked to in the first thread. What do you guys think?

We'll have to make sure people don't just start posting on that one and we'll spell it out in the first post and maybe in the title. Also give a link back in the first post to the current active thread. This way we will always have an active thread with the important info.

I think instead of an FO, in honor of the new DIS rules, the person should have to put (and this would be for this one) "1 page down, 249 more to go".

Or we just ban FO's because there would theoretically be 249 of them which calculates out to 16.6 pages, which we could use to talk to each other.

Maybe we should, and yes this will be a shock to all of you, MULTI-QUOTE more often.

Or, we just go to see how many threads we can have before we sail.
