hey wait. you just wasted a post scolding karen about milestones. now i'm wasting a post picking on you for scolding karen about going for milestones.

No, but he did save a lot on his car insurance. Oh wait, I meant he did get his high score. He told me what Robin told him after he didn't get it the first time. We went again and I pointed out the things he needed. He did get over 80,000 though - which made him happy.

Suz and I are now competitive (she use to kick my butt). I think my high was like 297,000 or something like that. It was just a tad under the 300,000 needed for the next level.

Tell Robin thanks for the tips. I knew of one of them, and actually got it the last time we were on the ride.

waiting for tart to get home. they let them out early as its lots of snow and freezing rain here.

We are also getting the sleet and freezing rain here as well, the roads and sidewalks are getting very slick..............

Here by my office (which is near the lake in Milwaukee), it hasn't stopped snowing yet today. Easily over 6" in this storm.

I can imagine how bad the roads will be trying to get home.

quick story. (a little fluff)
we ate at 50s prime time cafe for dinner last thurs.
when seated i noticed that the table had little teeth marks all over the end of the table. the waiter said they came from some cute kid from canada last oct. (KIRA ???) 50s prime time table.

Yeah, I think I saw her, she was at the table across from ours. She was really digging into that table Some people's kids!!

Good evening folks

Went to the gym today and did double the treadmill - (not all running though!)

I normally walk 1 minute then run 1 minute etc. I managed just under an hour - the last 15 mins were walking uphill gradient of 12 - was nearly falling off the back of the dreadmill - felt like a sheer cliff face but I did it then I swam a bit, then went into the restaurant and dissed on one of the pc's - couldnt even face the walk to the carpark straight away - my calves were screaming at me - good job I'm at the theatre tomorrow with Ellis - I'll be able to sit down for 2 hours

Guess I'm way out of shape, I know I'm just starting at my gym and haven't been to one in many years but when I go on the bike or eliptical I can only manage about 5 minutes before I'm huffing and puffing...
I do have mild asthma too, but I realize how seriously out of shape I am when I read your post!

Angelina and I both have a 4 day weekend coming up, a few years ago we wound up with a 21" sn*wfall during President's Weekend, nothing like that is in the forecast for this weekend!!!

Friday morning I have a dermatologist appt, Friday afternoon Angelina has to go have two cavities filled, then on Monday all three of us have eye doctor appts. Since Hazel knew Angelina and I were off on Friday and Monday, she made these appts for us ahead of time................

Hello Everyone.

We're home. Landed at 6:00 to 5 degree temps. It was mid 70's when we left and DS was swimming until about 12:30 today.

He had a great b-day and was actually riding the #8 car on Space at the exact time he was born 8 years ago. (Space is his #2 ride at MK - although I think his #2 ride next to Splash now is Rockin' Rollercoaster - he and Suz loved it, I've been on before). He got an autographed Mickey picture in the room when we got back Sunday night. Tried to do a nice dinner at the Plaza restaurant, but the waitress, who even confirmed his special dessert, screwed it up and didn't bring it. Moment lost, so we didn't get to sing to him at dinner. All in all it was a great trip.

Ran in to Dog and Tart at AK prior to our Spectro meet later that night. All of a sudden this crazy man came running after us yelling something about fellow KKers. Just kidding Mike. Actually it was nice that they flagged us down because we got to eat lunch with them. It was great meeting up with them twice that day.

Any how, too many pages to catch up on (I think) and too much work to do this week. My head is killing me tonight and I'm coming down with a cold.

So, I probably won't be posting for a couple days.

The reason I'm up so late is because I was in the music room singing karaoke all by my lonesome (kids already in bed.....except Julia) and Scott came in ther around 9 and sang the guy parts of the princess songs. Then we sang the Cars songs then some 80s. We are sooooooo good!

Hazel made a dermatologist appt for me November, I cancelled that appt because we went away, she scheduled it for me again for December, again I cancelled it becasue of work, she made it for me for this Friday and said she will drag me kicking and screaming if I even dare think of cancelling this appt...............

Since this is my first visit with this doctor, they don't allow for evening or Saturday appointments. I have been using prescription shampoo for the past few months which has helped, but I'm still getting sores on my scalp. I've been doing research on the web and have an idea what it might be, but I really do need to see a specialist and get the problem corrected. My family doc said he can't do anymore for me.

Angelina had school musical practice tonight, don't know if they cancelled practice or not, but there wasn't anyway I was going out in this stuff. There have been many fender benders in the area already.

Not sure if I'll have time to post tonight. DS has basketball at 7:15 to 8:30. Kills most of my night and I feel just awful right now with this cold.
