Ok, thought I would post some pics...

These are all from MNSSHP on October 14th.

My two faves...I just love the way the light is hitting Kira.

This is Kira watching the Halloween parade. She was absolutely enthralled!!

Anyone remember Arsenio Hall show??

Things that make you go hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm :rolleyes2

From MNSSHP...

That's a very long skirt and it looked like she was having a VERY hard time walking in it!

10-14-4.jpg

She even has crocs that match her outfit!! LOL!

10-14-5.jpg

This one made me giggle! Might be a little hard to ride the rides though.

Was just taking a walk down memory lane. I found one of the very first posts I made here on the DIS cruise site.

http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=2949722&postcount=1

This thread started on 1-25-03 for our 8-23-03 cruise, the total thread was 70 pages and 1045 posts and was one of the longer, if not longest, cruise meets threads at the time.........:scratchin :lmao: :scratchin

The thread title was changed "many" times over the course of time........:rotfl2:

Cass loved the pics of Kira, she is such a cutie pie :thumbsup2 the other Halloween pics were entertaining.......;)

When I found the DIS in 1997, it was only one page!! :thumbsup2 It was a huge thread index of posts. When the look changed and they started counting posts (actually, they reset the count after about a year and I was at about 105 posts then) I rarely ever posted. I just lurked a lot and gathered info for my 1999 trip to WDW :thumbsup2

I really didn't start posting a lot until about 2004 or so. :rolleyes2

thanks, i feel better now.:cheer2:

Also, I am trying to gather things to include in some gift baskets to my kids (and Chuck) for this cruise.

Since the Castaway Cay lanyards have been discontinued, does anyone have 4 extras from previous cruises who would be willing to sell me some?

My kids really wanted some last time but since it was their first cruise they didn't get any.

Talk about obsessive planning huh Becky and Karen? :rotfl2:
Nancy I have some, don't want the money willing to give them to you . I also have 1 almost complete CC bag if you want that as well.
We will be getting new lanyards on the Magic in August.;)

So Becky...you must be 3/4 packed ready for the Panama trip?:rotfl:
Yeah and I bought all smaller clothes for it. I need to get my Bobaloser bum in gear.:crazy2:

Beautiful day here in SE WI. Sun is out and I think we're suppose to be in the 30's. Storm moving in tomorrow afternoon. We are now on Winter Storm Watch. :sad2:
Jeff the storm wasn't as bad as they were thinking here. Hoping it loses some momentum before it gets to you.

Hey, just noticed, we have less than 600 posts to go.

I have the first page code already to go. I may not be here when they close us, but when we get close, I will set part 3 up (unless someone else wants to do it).
Jeff I don't know if it just my computer but I can't get any of the links on page one of this thread to work:confused3

Ok, I made a quick little door sign for those of you who got/will get a free window :hyper:

I just made it half the size of a full sheet so it wouldn't take up a lot of room.

I put it on the door sign page at the bottom

http://www.cassworld.ca/bob-doorsigns.htm
Thanks Cass!

Yes, I agree with you Steve. Rick and I have only one day at DL so we're gong to make the most of the day and pick rides at both parks and park hop.
Just a word of advice for everyone. If you want to ride Nemo you need to get to DL gates before they open. When we went last year it was a minimum 3 hour wait and it doesn't have fast pass:confused3 . Sean and I went on one of the early mornings (the kids wouldn't get up) and we still had to 45min to an hour, and we were there when the gates opened.

i just cut up a fresh mango for my sick sweet tart.
i told her to close her eyes and pretend she's on castaway cay.:beach:
Make it how the make it here, put some chile powder, lime, and salt on it. Should open them passageways right up

our first trip together was 1976. we stayed at a holiday inn in kissimmee
for about $25 a nite. there was a cow pasture right behind the hotel.
(there really was):crazy2:
We live close to a lot of dairies, don't think that we would notice or at least wouldn't bother us.

:joker: :joker: :joker: I really need to stop drinking iced tea when I read this thread :joker: :joker: :joker:
I was drinking a perfectly good Carmel Light Frappucino.:cool1:

So last month I posted that we had a cat who we literally found sleeping on our couch on morning last month, and Sarah named her Miley. Well guess what Miley had 4 kittens this morning.:faint: 1st one didn't feel to good, she was screaming, Sean thought she got her tail stuck or something, imagine his surprise when he found her.
When she showed up she was a skinny minnie, she did get fat but we were hoping it was because she was eating so much. So now here we are, a 6 cat household, for now anyways. Anyone want one? Please!:scared:

That's the nicest way I can say no thanks, one cat for us is enough...........:crazy2:

Poor Neil - he starts his 2 weeks of nights call out tonight - he's just been called to Gloucester:sad2: - only about 1 1/2 hours away, but he probably wont be home til about 5am. I cant sleep when he's not here so I'll be reading til 2am anyway.

I'd sit here and print more signs but the printer is noisy and Ellis is asleep in the next bedroom:rolleyes:

Oh well, goodnight everybody.

I'm back at my "maybe" little job tomorrow morning - toddler teacher!:teacher:

Nancy - I love those piccies.:thumbsup2 That star fish is amazing and I love the sand photo too

Karen, after I caught up on the thread this morning, I started playing with some clipart to make door signs! I want to be onboard too!!!!

Great minds think alike Jen:thumbsup2

Cass writes..."I made a quick little door sign...."

Now, if that had been me I would have typed...

"Holy cow! - look how blooming clever I am!"

Cass - you astound me::yes:: - how the heck did you do that in a couple of hours????????????

I would have spent the next 20 months and it would still have looked like a piece of cr*p made by a 5 year old:rotfl2:

What can I say except............."I've got a window and I didnt pay for it!" - and ...

Thank you:flower3: Thank you:flower3:Thank you :flower3:

OK Guys...the video is finished and we're trying to find an easy way of letting you all see it. It's with Dave at the moment. Hopefully, we'll have news for you soon.

Thought .. If anyone has a region free DVD player, we could send you a copy.

.
Ooooooh! me me me! I'd like one!:hyper:

Ok, you need a new computer girl!!!! :rolleyes2

Hmmm... lemme put it here for you...

LOL, you make me laugh Karen :lmao: It took me about an hour and that's only because the original mickey clipart had a white background so I needed to extract Mickey from the background. That took about 30 mins! The rest is simple, not long to do. Actually, I wanted to do more with it but I drew a blank and didn't know what else to add to it.

And Karen, if I had to do as much ironing as you, it would take me MONTHS to do what you do in a couple of hours :faint: And then it would STILL look like it needs to be ironed :lmao:

I think I will stick to graphics ::yes::
