Well, I've finally found you guys! I didn't know about the new rules on long threads. So, I couldn't figure out what happened to my reminder emails. I figured out that I would look into it after vacation.

Welcom back Steve

Oh no....Cass. Once again, I can't see it! What the heck is wrong with this computer?:scratchin It's not operator error either, I know how to open a link. :rotfl2:

I finally got Kristin and Jesse's pics loaded onto my computer so here are a few of my favs:

This family does not travel lightly:

GREAT PICS NANCY !!
although why arnt the bags strapped to the guys backs like robin made me carry ours??

Wow! That is a tough question! There are some worthwhile rides in DCA but overall, I wouldn't blow a whole day there if I only had two days. I'm assuming that you are travelling during the Christmas school break, so crowds will be higher than early December. You may want to take a mid afternoon break from Disneyland (when crowds are the highest) and hit the rides that interest you in DCA then go back to Disneyland in the evening when the crowds start to taper off. Read Hydroguy's guide to crowds at Disneyland in the Disneyland threads (I believe that it is in one of the stickies) He gives an excellent plan for maximizing you day w/o going crazy. The Christmas season is one of my favorite times to visit the parks. Disneyland is absolutely beautiful that time of year. I highly recommend it. We are planning to go this year, but I haven't quite decided when yet.

Yes, I agree with you Steve. Rick and I have only one day at DL so we're gong to make the most of the day and pick rides at both parks and park hop.

now i understand why the boy lovebirds didnt show up for the bball match on castaway cay. it wouldnt have looked good to their partners for an old man like me to mop the "sand" with them.:rotfl2:

Does anyone know if I can order another DCL scrapbook somewhere? I wanted to make one for each cruise we've been on but I only bought one last year.

I also ran short of picture space in my DCL photo album. I even added a few extra empty pages from my 05 album. I could've used two this time.

Any ideas anyone??:confused3

Nancy - have you tried extending the posts. I have drawn a blank on DCL scrapbook supplies. I have trouble with the plastic inserts...never having enough!:rotfl:

Also, I am trying to gather things to include in some gift baskets to my kids (and Chuck) for this cruise.

Since the Castaway Cay lanyards have been discontinued, does anyone have 4 extras from previous cruises who would be willing to sell me some?

My kids really wanted some last time but since it was their first cruise they didn't get any.

Talk about obsessive planning huh Becky and Karen? :rotfl2:

Nancy - I have a spare one you can have FOC. Let me know.

I just double checked the HRC website and the St Thomas Hard Rock Cafe is no longer there So no Hard Rocks this trip. :sad1:

OK Guys...the video is finished and we're trying to find an easy way of letting you all see it. It's with Dave at the moment. Hopefully, we'll have news for you soon.

Thought .. If anyone has a region free DVD player, we could send you a copy.

Off to check Cass's site. Talk later.

Evening Cass. How you doing today?

I don't feel so bad now...........our first trip to WDW was in 1983, Hazel and I bought all new clothes for the trip and had them packed a few months ahead of time. That was pre-Angelina days, and pre-homemade t-shirt days.......:rotfl:

I think Hazel and I came home from that trip with about 15 new WDW t-shirts as well. We stayed in a Fort Wilderness cabin 8 nights for just $95.00@ night, seemed like a real bargin back then............:rotfl2:

our first trip together was 1976. we stayed at a holiday inn in kissimmee
for about $25 a nite. there was a cow pasture right behind the hotel.
(there really was):crazy2:
