Yeah, I got a question about that too. I look on DU's website as see that the OBC is listed for Non-Verandah room as $50 and that double? That sounds pretty low to me. I got $100 with AAA and it wasn't even their Disney Days month. Has anyone transferred over to DU yet? What did you get?

I got $100 for a cat 10. Also I just checked DU and it states $100 for a cat 8-12 for all 2009 sailings until Dec. 31

Holy cow! - how many pages did you all do last night!

OK I haven't started packing yet but I did print off the shore excvursions and some recent Eastern navigators last night at work so that I can start studying them. Of course I was just doing this to be helpful to the radiologist I was working with because she and her family are doing an Eastern in Feb. so I made 2 copies and gave her one.
It has been 7 years since we've done an Eastern so this morning I pulled out our photo album from that trip to show Rachel when she gets home from school. She really doesn't remember the islands too much because she was only six when we cruised that time. It was fun looking through the pictures from that cruise.

I love planning - which website did you use to get your info?

Cheryl, maybe we should have people who've been on the Eastern before post some pictures up on the thread. I have tons. I'll have to go through and pick the best ones.

BTW, does anyone who had SPH in the past find that the windows are lower than in the 8's or 9's?

I wouldnt care if it was on the ceiling as long as I get a free window.

Speaking of character meals......Does anyone else not like the character meal format on the ship? It was waayyy too chaotic for me. I think they need to go back to the tradional character breakfast. Thoughts?

That might not be a bad idea. Why not throw it open to a vote? Since Jay and I didn't make it to that cruise we're not really Konked Kruisers, so losing that "name" really doesn't matter to us. But we're flexible and defer to the group consensus on this one.

We have friends staying over - drinks and a curry out then back to ours to watch some fight on Sky tv at 4am - Some american bloke v some english bloke - cost $30 to "pay to view" and I bet we'll all be fast asleep and miss it all
