I have no idea - he loved the clubs so much last time!

Pete's sister and family are thinking of coming too, so if they do, Thomas's cousins will be there too. Anthony is Thomas's age (they're 12 days apart in age) and Andrew will be 4 when we cruise.

I'm going to do what I did last time...let him pick what he wants to do. If it's the clubs, great! If it's the pool, that's good too!

Just got caught up again, now I have to check a couple other threads, then take DD to work at Build-a-Bear, poor kid works until 11pm tonight, then has to be back in at 9am tomorrow morning at Icing. She just started at Icing last week. I told her she has to make a decision between B-a-B or Icing after Christmas, I think one part-time job during the school year will be enough.

We went to the Character breakfast on the ship - it's the only one we've ever been to. I agree it was chaotic, but I can't say it was bad because DS had a BLAST! Of course, he was out of his seat as soon as any characters came out (he even did the hula with Lilo and all the girls) and he got right up front and center to see/dance with them. I don't have great pics, but DS had a memorable time. Neither Thomas nor I got much breakfast in us though...

I agree - it's not a traditional character breakfast, but we enjoyed it as well. Unfortunately we had to leave a bit early as DH & I had reservations at Palo but since the boys had been up dancing around with the characters they didn't have too much of a problem. It would have been worse if we were waiting for characters to come to our table and then had to leave before they got there.

I agree that you can't get good pictures, but at least they had fun!

All this talk about the character breakfast makes me a little sad ... I loved having the characters stop by the table and pose for pictures and it sounds like that doesn't happen any more.

Oh well ... just one more option for brunch at Palo!

It is 2 years from now and they are not getting good feedback, so maybe they'll switch back.

You know what's really funny about that? One night on our last cruise when we were having dinner at Palo the Mad Hatter and Alice wandered through the restaurant. It caused quite a buzz ... I bet there were more than a few couples there that night who thought they'd had too much to drink.
