Hi Janice!

We've only been twice - once in cat 6 midship and once in a cat 4 midship. We like being near the middle of the ship because it's a little easier to get everywhere, but other than that it doesn't really matter too much where our cabin is located as long as we're on board and we've got a balcony (we're suckers for the balcony!).

Jeff or Andy could probably give you some good advice. :goodvibes

The cabin they quoted was 7012, and we were in 6008 in October. Mark thinks he would prefer to be more midship. We have 4 in our party, so that limits us some.
Thanks for your help, I'm just glad to be onboard and we really don't spend a ton of time in our room.

Thanks for everyone's input.

Janice,

If you go midship, you will have to go Balcony unless you go to Deck 2.

We've done deck 2. I don't mind it but Suz likes to be up higher. You can talk to her about it.

The windows in Cat 9 are the same as in Cat 8.

BTW, does anyone who had SPH in the past find that the windows are lower than in the 8's or 9's?

Whoo Hoo!

I'll second that. I'm about done with this week. it was a long one for me. Next week will be a shorter one that will allow me to rest more.

Right there with you Steve, I was wondering if this week was ever going to come to an end, now I just have to make it through the next few hours!!! :rolleyes1

Hey Chris, I was just thinking of you, the kids were just talking about Ryan & Rosie. I hope you are still thinking of joining the KK2 cruise. My kids are looking forward to seeing your kids again, though they think 2 yrs is a long time to wait.
I'll PM you the kids pictures to show your kids.

Hi Chris So did you guys swithch your ressie over to this cruise and will you be joining KK2? Rachel is under the impression you are!

Usually, we get midship or aft, this will be our first time near the front in one of the SPH cabins.

We had some Disney Reward Dollars that were going to expire the end of this month, I just applied them to our cruise balance, nice to see the balance coming down already.............:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

An FO for me?

What do you know, I got it!!! :rotfl:

And for the value of these rooms, you'll be back up there again. They truly are the best deal on the ship.

Gotta love that feeling, hey Andy?

So what, you now have $501 dollars paid down? $500 deposit plus $1 in Disney rewards? :lmao: Wish they gave more than 1% on Disney related purchases.

Hi Walt.

Thanks. I guess I talk too much if I got that high already.

Jeff,

That was not my implication. I am just quiet and shy like DI :happytv:

Glad you change the first page, didn't want outsiders to come to Rocking Bar D to see the TRUE SIDE of Walt and DI...Oh shucks I forgot about Robin and Mike, party animals they are....:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Miss you Guys and KK2's already...Need to see Suz and you rocking the night away with us...:thumbsup2

This time when I booked, I decided to do the airfare, hotel and transfers myself. (Save a few bucks and have more freedom) so I was surprised as how low the cost of the cruise was w/o all the add-ins. Then after my $1000 deposit, the balance was downright affordable.

I'll probably save my Disney Rewards (I tapped it out on this last cruise) for spending money on board. and Use my other Visa points on dropping the cost of the airfare.
