Mike thanks for asking about Al  He is back on the blood thinners because when you are in atrial fib there is increased risk of stroke. Once they have his blood thinned to the point they'd like, which he is almost at now, they want him to continue like that for a month and then they will increase one of his medications and use the paddles and shock his heart again to hopefully get the heart beat back in a normal rhythym and hopefully it will stay that way this time. If that doesn't work we'll talk again about them trying the cardiac ablation again. So right now were just kind of waiting. For the most part he feels OK, he's just more tired and doesn't have as much stamina and gets a little short of breath at times but his symptoms aren't bad at all compared to some people have with this.

Glad you're getting hings sorted:hug: - he's in my thoguhts and prayers

Its painting day today - we're aiming for the ceiling and at least 2 coats on the new plaster.

It dried quite well overnight so at least we can start:yay:

Hi everyone!

I haven't been on much due to work and getting ready for Christmas. I am preparing for 4 straight days :scared1: of celebrating Christmas with our families. ;)

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas(or Happy Christmas for those across the pond, right?)! :santa: :santa: :santa: :santa: :santa:

..............Good Morning Folks!!!

I've got to get our DD up in a few minutes as she has a very busy day today. Angelina wound up being scheduled at both Icing 9am-2pm and at Build-a-Bear 3pm-8pm today. At least she has an hour between shifts so she can catch her breath and get something to eat. I told her she only has a few more days, then she must decide which store she wants to stay working at. From the way she was talking last night, I think she might be staying on at Build-a-Bear, but she has surprised me in the past with some of her decisions, so we will just have to wait and see what she decides.

I'll check in later, have a good Saturday all..............

How about some pictures of Cataway Cay to warm all of us up

Nice, very Nice. I sure miss that Island.

Becky did you transfer your reservation to Dreams Unlimited? If so was it difficult to do? Do you just have to email them?

It was very easy. I believe they have a link on their page specifically for transfers. You fill it out, and then they send you an email.

It was surpisingly easy. I filled out the online form and then got an email confirmation within 24 hours.

:sad1:

Hey people, KK1 has fallen out of 4th place in the post count. The May Repo cruise is now ahead of KK1 (we passed them back in August).

I have faith in the B.O.B. that we will surpass their final post count though. We have 21 months to go as of Monday, and we're already over 2,200. Way to go BOBbers.:thumbsup2

Hi Steve
By transfering your rezzie to Dreams did you get additional credit? Can we do it in England or do they only deal with USA people?

That sounds awesome Karen, make sure to post pics of his face when he sees it for the first time.

So is anyone doing a quite little Christmas at home? It will just be the 4 of us on Christmas this year.

I wish. I have to go to the Outlaws and Suz won't let me bring the Wii, even though everyone would have fun. That is the gift from Santa to the family.

My idea of a nice holiday is to sleep in, stay in my jammies all day with the fireplace going and watch a few movies.

Only thing better would be to be on a vacation (more specifically the Magic :thumbsup2 ).

Storms a brewing here. We're suppose to get mainly rain and maybe 1"-3" of snow. Up where Janice and Mark are, one forecast said 4"-8", while another said 8+". :scared1:

Kinda wish some of that snow would come down here. I would like 4"-6" of snow (I made sure I added the "of snow" to that for you sicko's :rotfl2: ).

Karen, I got a $100.00 stateroom credit when I switched my ressie over to DU. I'm rather sure that you can switch your ressie to DU. I'll send you a PM with more info.

Yes, just the three of us at home, then in the afternoon we will be going to the movies, our family tradition.

Afternoon Andy.

I love going to the movies as well on Xmas. Suz and I did that prior to having DS.

I do remember once in college my family went to Green Bay to visit my grandma (the ones who didn't live here stayed at their houses) and I went to the movies all by myself. Sat in the back row of the theatre. Pretty sad sight, but I liked the movie (no, I don't remember what I saw).

I just transferred out our Repo cruise and got $400 OBC (cats 8-12, we're in 9). Cats 1-7 got $600.

I believe there was an area that asked for country when I was doing it.

Let me know, I can email you the email I got from them that had the link.

Yes, just the 4 of us for Christmas day. I kinda like Andy's idea, with a movie in the afternoon, they are some out that the kids/everyone wants to see.

not snowing here yet, Jeff, but you are correct, they forecast us to get 4-9 inches by tomorrow. I would rather have the snow than the rain. We are going over to the neighbors in a little while for a sledding/potluck for the holidays.
