I TOTALLY agree! I have called Minnie the S1ut for years! I softened a little when DD was little, but I still know it!:thumbsup2

I told you all she hates her. I didn't say what she really called her because I didn't know if she would be mad at me or not. And I don't want my sis mad at me!:scared1: :scared1:

Thank you so much everyone!!! I am working on him!! He hasn't said no, so.....:wizard:

Hi Shelley! Welcome. I am Lori traveling with DH Scott and 3 kids. It will be our 6th Disney Cruise. We are totally addicted!
I am just catching up so I hope you have already booked by now but if not heres some help convincing him.pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

I have a video of Rob and I at Chef Mickey's, Minnie is at our table and giving Rob LOADS of attention and there I am behind her making faces at her :lmao: I didn't even realize that my friend was over at the dessert buffet taping me :rotfl2:

When my little princess met Minnie for the first time this past October, she totally shunned her :lmao: I was like "That's my GIRL!!!" :rolleyes1 She eventually came around and started to play with her nose. :rolleyes1

When she was a baby, my siblings and friends kept buying her baby clothes with Minnie on them just to pee me off :sad2:

Like I said I knew you and my sister would hit it off!!!!!!

Isn't that really going to clutter up the boards, Andy?

I understand what's driving the decision, but I wouldn't think having 500 small threads as opposed to 250 larger threads would make any difference. It's still the same amount of data ... it's just split up.

Oh well, what do I know?

Nothing. ;)

From what I gather, everytime a new post is made to a thread, the server has to scan through that whole thread, when you have a thread of over 80,000 posts that's what slows down the server.

One more thing that was mentioned on the podcast. DCL is supposed to be opening an office in London. ;)

Also, the webcam for the company http://www.meyerwerft.com/page.asp?lang=e&main=2&subs=0&did=826 that will be building the new DCL ships will NOT be showing the progress of the new ships as they are being built.........:sad2: :sad1: :sad2:

Yeah, 3.5 would be a good age! He must have had lots of fun!

If Kira was 3.5 on this cruise I would definitely want to take her but I think it would be too much stress keeping her out of the pool and occupied all day.

That's exactly why we didn't bring harrison on KK1. I didn't want the fight of keeping him out of the pool and the babysitting issues. At 2 he wouldn't have wanted to sit at dinner, or at the shows, or do anything else that we wanted him to do!!!!:lmao: :lmao:

Ohhhhh, OK. That makes more sense. Thanks for 'splaining it to this techo-ditz! ;)

An office in London ... wow!

Too bad about not being able to see the construction process, though - that would have been cool!

Maybe it's a security issue? They don't want other cruise lines analyzing the new ships and stealing ideas?

Good evening everyone....

We're having weird weather too...we had hail this afternoon, which froze and covered the ground, and now we're expected to get snow, and 45 mph winds.

Several area schools closed early, and I expect I will need to watch to see if schools are closed tomorrow. If Janesville (our city) schools close, my daycare will also close. Hmmm...sit at home all day and DIS...:surfweb:

Thanks Jen!!:)

You'll probably be ok if they are as nice as you and Pete. My problem is that my family is all like me....full of p!ss and vinegar, bless their hearts.

You? Nahhhhh! :rotfl2:

Ok, now I'm off to clean my coffee of of my computer screen and get busy with this day. Have a great day too Bendy girl! If it gets too stressful today, have a little ROD at lunch, you know rum only drinks!

Since it's my birthday can I have a little ROD too? ;)

Grimmie , Poor John!

Brenda I hope I am not in the same boat as you in October. I have already warned my family they will be left at the side of the road if they start to act up!

Way to keep them on their toes Shelley. :thumbsup2
HAPPY BIRTHDAY.. From Walt and Di

Thanks Kids! :flower3:

and now, please give a round of applause for
CHUCKS best friend, mother of the year to TONY and KRISTIN,
and mother goose to us all ,,,,,NANCY!!!

Happy Birthday Nancy

i'll tell you the same thing we've told the kids for years......
if you have to drink to have a good time...
then you've got problems..
so behave tonite.

Thank you, thank you Mike. :)

what? tony was dressed up like a woman in rockn bar d ? how'd we miss that.

Nice try.:rotfl2:

Bendy is windblown ...

we have another one of those totally stupid weather days happening again ..

it's 71 degrees right now - we're under a Tornado watch until 7Pm tonight and there are severe thunderstorms popping all over the region - by the time the watch is set to expire the temperatures are supposed to be about 25 degrees.

I hate weather like this - too volatile, especially this time of year.

I'd prefer a blizzard that would just have me stuck at home for a few days! But the last time we had a blizzard in St. Louis was 1982 ... we got 24 inches of snow in something like 15 hours. It was awesome!

Sorry about the block, Mike - totally unintentional.

We got the same cr@p up here Bendy. I almost wiped out on the driveway at work because it was all iced up. It made for a very interesting ride home.
Tomorrow, Milwaukee should have temps at minus 30 with the wind chill!!:cold:

I prefer lush ... it makes me feel like well irrigated vegetation.
:rotfl:

I am trying to catch up. Only like 30 more pages to go. My internet is down at my house. They are sending me a new DSL box. Hopefully that will be here soon. Can't get on here at work much anymore.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NANCY!!!!!

Thanks to our VD girl.

Wow, Sparrow was right. You girls are a friendly bunch. Only on the dis for a few minutes and already 5 private messages.:rolleyes1
I dont know who this mother goose lady is but it appears to be her birthday and she wants to share me with Sparrow.

She would need to see your picture first. :cool1:

favorite disney hotel?
underdog likes the caribbean.
although in 1994 we had a ressie for cb and disney called and asked if we would like to be upgraded to the contemporary for the same price as the cbeach. we said of course and it was great. got to watch the fireworks every nite from our balcony.:wizard:
over the last few years we have been staying at allstar movie and music and pop century(NOT P@@P brenda):lmao: we like them too.:wizard:
we dont spend much time in the rooms anyway and we've never thought its worth the extra $$ to pay for scenery. (of course underdog is cheap too)

I never realized that the resorts also give upgrades. :confused3 Good deal Mike.:thumbsup2

If only we were going too!;)

You're going, and that's final! :rotfl2:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NANCY!

Thanks Rose :cutie:

Hi Rose!

Brrrr.... it was 71 degrees when I came back from getting some lunch; now it's 25 degrees and snowing.

At least we don't have to worry about tornados any longer ... I wonder what that would be in the current conditions:

a snownado?

a tornsnow?

a tornadsnow?

:lmao:

We had thundersnow and thundersleet today. Would that be Snowdersleet? :goodvibes

Oh you cheeky dog! - And it was a real big full moon too!:lmao:

Hopefully by 2009 my moon will be a little less "full":rotfl:

Karen, maybe you should iron on messages on your knickers. Something like "Hi Mike" or "I'm with Bob";)

:welcome: to all the newbies, especially Sully.:thumbsup2
Hi Sully, my name is Becky, and I am sailing with well um my brother yeah that's it my brother, anyhoo, if you need anything, I'll be on deck 5.:flower3:

Yeah, 3.5 would be a good age! He must have had lots of fun!

If Kira was 3.5 on this cruise I would definitely want to take her but I think it would be too much stress keeping her out of the pool and occupied all day.

He did have a blast. Only one day we discovered his eyebrow was at the same level as the door knobs at Topsiders! He has a little scar from that collision. However, we had a huge response from the staff--they came from everywhere and even came back to a different location later to check on him. I couldn't tell if they suspected child abuse or thought we would try to sue Disney???:confused3

At first, the attention seemed like Disney and then it became a little unnerving.:scared1:

DS was fine and it was barely noticeable in the pics.

I'm online with this virtual AAA travel show. It's only tonight from 6 to 11EST.
Prizes to be won like a cruise or AAA gift certificates, luggage, etc.

They're showing only 3 cruise lines:

Amzara
Celebrity
and
Royal Carribbean

I'm not excited about any of them.

They're not as good as Disney:sad2:

If anyone is interested in registering and attending the show tonight online go to:

We are officially official!! Room 6078. A lovely veranda room. Now if we can survive the next 600 some days we will be set! HI ED! R.O.D. anyone?

Ok, obviously it's blocking that address, so go to AAA travel and look for their virtual travel show on their website.
