Found out that my DVD Player/Burner is on the fritz, won't recognize or burn any discs.
Good news is for those of you that have IPOD video, I was looking for the new Samantha Brown weekend TV series on the Itune store and under the TV section there is a Travel Channel sub section and what did I find
Travel Channel's Season of Disney and they have the following:
Disney's Animal Kingdom
Disney Cruise Line
Disney on a Dime
Disney Splurge
Disney Royal Treatment
Samantha Brown's Disney Favorites
Samantha Brown's Disney Holiday
Undiscovered Walt Disney World
Walt Disney World Resort

It costs either 1.99 per episode or 14.99 for the whole lot of them. I got them all downloading right now.

What's the word you use "norty" for being bad?

I wasnt so norty.... I did all the bathrooms in the end:goodvibes

Hello everyone.
We just got back from our Las Vegas trip

Welcome back

Karen, it's a little hard to come up with "Americanisms" that work everywhere! There are literally phrases only used in certain cities! Plus, regional differences across the country make for some interesting communication issues. Also, we Americans seem adept at adding slang on a daily basis!

Its the same over here. Theres an area about 40 minutes drive from where we live called the Black Country. It has one of the strongest accents in the UK, and even we cant understand half of what they say... they adapt words to almost make up their own language. You'd think they were speaking a dsifferent language to listen to them:confused3

My copy of 30-Day shred finally showed up today so I did the level 1 workout earlier this evening. Went for a 2.5 mile walk earlier this morning with Jay while the humidty was at steam-room levels.

I'm gonna be sore tomorrow but it's worth it. I only lost one pound last week, but I'm hoping for more when I weigh in next Saturday.

Sure missed checking in during the week ... I feel so left behind now. :rotfl:

You're missed Brenda:hug:

Great job on the 1lb:thumbsup2 Hope you're not too sore tomorrow.I might look into getting that book - is it just exercise or is it a diet book too?

Well it took 4.5 hours and a pretty good chunk of change to make those natural highlights disappear. But I must say I do look so much better.

I dyed mine the other day too:rolleyes1 - I normally go to the hairdressers but she couldnt fit me in so I jsut put a colour on til after our holidays as the sun ruins the colour anyway. Its suprising how better you feel when theres no grey!:goodvibes

Well an early good morning folks

We went out with friends last night for curry. They came back to ours and weput the wii on. They'd never played it before amd loved it! They didnt leave til gone midnight and then Neil and I carried on playing. We go to bed about 1.30am and we're up again now at 6am:rolleyes:

Neils gone to work again and I've got to sort out some software before I collect Ellis at 9.30am for an early showing of Wall-E.

I keep delaying loading the software cuz I hate doing stuff like that:rolleyes1 - why does it never works how it should do.:confused3

Yep that SUB looked great. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Hi There Ed, nice to see you again......

And......Good Sunday Morning Fellow BOB'ers..........

I hope I didn't offend anyone with my comment about the "Clean House" show I was watching yesterday. It was the episode about the dirtiest house in the country. Believe you me, I have been into some messy houses over the past 29 years reading meters, and yes, one or two of them like I saw on the show yesterday. In fact, one house was just demolished here in town a couple of years ago because the inside was sooooooo bad. But, there is a difference between messy and just plain unliveable conditions.

i'll explain this to anyone who has never driven to FL down I-95.
cafe risque is a "gentlemans club" off the main road. they have huge billboards
posted along the highway stating "we bare all".
its a big joke whenever we drive down to FL.:cheer2:
i'm sure its a truckers paradise.:lmao:

Yep, we've seen those signs on the drive many a time.......:sad2:

My iPod is fully charged and ready to go. I can workout this morning in style.....:thumbsup2

I wish it had the video so I could download some of The Travel Channel shows that Becky was talking about. Lina got the new iPod that plays video, dad got the hand me down iPod that just plays music.........

It always works out that way around here, the ST gets all the newest items, and mom and dad get the hand me downs........:lmao:

Oh well, some music is better than, no music........:thumbsup2

A Sunday morning workout FO by chance.........:rolleyes1

What caught my eye in the pic below, was the date of the movie's release!!!

Good morning all,

Well son # 2 arrived home safe and sound. Has some interesting stories about ROTC camp. His plane was late friday so his GF beat us here. Now he needs to get back to work but he thinks he needs to relax for a while. It's going to be a long school year with out spending $$.

Crummy weather day here yesterday. After mowing I got inthe poll for about 30 min and then the big black clouds rolled in. So no more floating for me. Did get all the laundry done though.

Have a great Day-

Paige- have a great time

Andy good moring and have a nice work out.

Karen- good morning.

Lucky you...last Hallmark ornament I got was Mrs Potts and Chip.

I got away cheap this year. Only $112.00 worth of ornaments. All four kids get one every year from St. Nick and this year I also bought both couples an "Our First Christmas Together" ornament. Chuck and I got a Disney one.:thumbsup2

we call them subs. Diane

We do too Diane. :)

I pushed myself to the MAX this morning, a 550 calorie burn off workout. I do get longer workouts in when the ST stays home and sleeps........:rotfl:

Plus, I have more time on the weekend mornings than I do during the weekday mornings anyhow. Oh yeah, it was so much nicer having my iPod with me as well, made the time go quicker!!! :thumbsup2

Thanks Auntie Karen!

30-Day Shred is a DVD workout program with Jillian Michaels from the Biggest Loser. There are three workout levels and what I like is that each workout is only 20 minutes. You do three circuits ... 3 minutes of strength work, 2 minutes of cardio, and 1 minute of abdominal work ... no breaks just 20 minutes of hard work.

I think there may be a diet plan book that can be purchased separately but I didn't want that. For me, as long as I get moving and start focusing on the workouts the weight should come off pretty quick (especially now that I've given up fast food).

OK, I had to wait for the ST to get up so she could help me with this. I am downloading the "Season of Disney" at this very moment so I can watch them on my laptop!!! Thanks again Becky for this tip!!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Just popping in to say hi.

Had a great day yesterday going to see my Brother, DS really likes him, and going to the Cave of the Mounds and then the Mustard Museum near by. I've got pics. I'll try to post some later.

I need help....:scared1: am trying to find a Hotel in San Francisco for two nights for less than $600....Am i tinkling into the wind here or what?....:confused3

Guess I'll have to look at using some FF miles on another airline on one of alternative routes. If we don't use the tickets (i.e. MW is still flying), it will only cost us $75 per ticket ($225 total) to switch those seats. Better than $225 plus the cost of the tickets out of pocket right now.

Update on my ticket situation. Come to find out that I get one courtesy change to FF tickets with the airline I'm looking at using for my backup. We can change up to 1 hour before the flight.

My only downside is, as it stands now, we'd have to change to a flight before April 15th (their calendar doesn't go any further than that). We weren't planning on using these FF tickets until June of next year.

I can always move them for $75 each, but maybe we'll just have to look into a WDW trip in spring instead (or a Wonder cruise). :thumbsup2

So I think we may have our backup set. Based on what we're doing, I almost want to scrap the current plans and go with the backup. However, if Midwest is flying, I'd rather get my free flight out of them now since they'll be gone soon and wait on the other airline.
