Scott gave me the go ahead to do house cleaning on the side to see how well it does as long as I keep my mind opening to leaving Target if something better comes along. So I made up flyers to put up on our mail boxes in the community. So all 4 of them are up. I will be posting some on the mail boxes in the community next to us tomorrow if I can get in their gates. I just wante to go make photo copies of them. Now I need to make an add for the internet.

I started scrapboking after DS was born...a co-worker of mine is a consultant and got me started. I really do like doing it, but I don't always have time. I'm almost 2 years behind in DS's albums, but I'm still going to plan to scrap the photos - I figure I'll have time eventually!

Here's a link to the main CM website new products:

I highly recommend the Disney Milestones album kit - it's a bunch of journaling boxes and photo mats with Mickey and the gang - very cute!

I've also found some cute Disney scrapbooking stuff at Michaels and at joann.com.

Your album pages are really cute! I got the Disney albums and pages on the ship so Megan and I can do it. But, that requires sorting through a few hundred pictures on the computer and printing what we want!

I know a couple of people who are CM consultants. But thanks for the link. I would definitely like some CM Disney stuff!

Ok, I have a Disney question......

Give me your suggestion for a restaurant on Christmas Day. I think we will try to stay out of the parks that day, so how about a resort restaurant?

Victoria & Albert's (go for the Christmas splurge!!!)
Jiko
California Grill
Yachtsman Steakhouse (we haven't eaten here yet but people whose opinion I value swear by it especially if you want some tasty beef for dinner)

McD in Downtown Disney. :lmao:

Just kidding.

Casual or Formal?

I would say if you want fun and casual, I'd got for the one in the lobby of Wilderness Lodge. You can go see the decorations then too.

If you want more formal, how about Artist Point? That's in WL too, right?

Artist Point, Yachtsman's Steakhouse, and Cali Grill all sound good to me. I will be making my ressies on Monday morning, so I have a lot to think about this weekend. My issue with all these restaurants is that they are all worth 2 TS for each person. We are still in that "family of 5" mode I am afraid. As for V&A's--I will wait to go there when my kids can afford to pay my way--bless their hearts.:rotfl:

OOOHH--I just had a thought. Do CM's get a discount on food in the restaurants? If so, that is another reason for Rob to try to get a job there after he retires.:lmao:

I'm back already ... couldn't do as much as I thought I could. Jay has to get some questions answered for his anal wife. :lmao:

Paige, for what it's worth Artist Point is the only signature restaurant on WDW property that Jay and I have tried that neither one of us cared for. We both thought the menu was limited and not all that impressive or tasty. Just our opinion, and I know it's in the minority on the DIS, but I wanted you to know.

I didn't mention any seafood places, but Flying Fish is really good (still 2 TS credits) and it's right on the Boardwalk so you wouldn't have to worry about using WDW transportation on what will no doubt be a crazy travel day. You are staying at the BWV, right?

Yes, we are staying at BWV.....as you say, SQUEEEE!!!

Ok, so about seafood.....I feel about seafood the same way you feel about steaks. I VERY SELDOM get seafood anywhere but in Louisiana (well, and my house last week--Rob's dad=awesome cook). Now earlier in this week, I ate at Phillips at the Inner Harbor in Baltimore, and if my mama would've been there, I wouldn've slapped her. The crab bisque, crab cakes, and bread pudding were to die for! I forgot my camera, sorry.:headache:

Hey anyone check on the mother lion and her cubs lately. I just checked in and I get a comercial of some sort and then a black screen. What happened to her and her little ones.

Since you are all talking about food has anyone ate at Napa Rose in the Californian Wilderness Lodge at DL. We are tossing around the idea of staying at the Lodge for 2 nights of our 10 year which is not until 2011. I was thinking of Napa Rose for a very nice dinner just the two of us.

Sorry, Carrie, I have absolutely no idea of what you are speaking. I am signing off for the night, y'all. Have a good night.

AFEG! AFEG! Where for art thou, Big Daddy?:listen:

All right, we'll throw out the seafood.

But here's what you can choose form that's within easy walking distance of the BWV (excluding those airborne fishies)...

Casual:

ESPN Club
Spoodles (yummy - try the Sangria)
Big River Grille & Brew Company (we ate here once about five years ago ... it was OK, nothing too exciting)
Beaches & Cream (go have the kitchen sink for dessert)
Cape May Cafe (seafood buffet ... don't go there!)
Captain's Grille (never had anything but breakfast here)

Signature Dining:

Yachtsman Steakhouse

There are also a ton of restaurants to choose from over at the Swolphin ... Blue Zoo, Shula's (steakhouse), Il Mulino to name a few. They don't take the dining plan but often will give a AAA or DVC discount.

PS. I loved your edit ... I too can be a T.W.I.T. :rotfl2:

Someone (Sorry can not remember who) posted a link that was a live web cam into a mothers den with her cubs. I was just wondering what happened to it. A few people had popped in to see it.

I am off for the night also, i have four hours of shows to watch. Lets see how much I fast forward through. Have a good night everyone
