Isn't it late for you Andy? You're usually in bed by now.

Yeah, "the kid" was supposed to call me if she needed a ride home, when she didn't arrive home at 10pm, I called her and asked if she needed a ride home, to which she replied, "Yes." I asked her why she didn't call and let me know, her reply was, "I didn't know if I was going to need a ride home, or not, until now."

KIDS...........:headache: :headache: :headache:

OK, I'm off to bed now, see ya in the morning...........:wave2:

Hey Jeff! Mini-golf does sound cool. But I can just see a problem with not "throwing" (or putting?) objects off the ship! Or maybe a golf-ball flying through the air??:duck:

I also realize I didn't give my answer: One suggestion from the other thread that would REALLY help: bigger clocks near the pool!

What I really like? Hard to say, but probably the whole package: fun and relaxation for everyone. But, if I had to pinpoint one thing: the attention paid to the kids by the kids clubs and the entertainment staff. Awesome!

All other cruise lines have mini golf so I don't think it would be too big a deal. If we can't have that, how about a regulation 9-hole course on Castaway Cay? The could also put a mini-golf there too (maybe allow us to use the "plus" feature on our WDW tickets for mini-golf there.

As for clocks by the pool, you're on vacation - relax. :cool1: But I agree, it is hard to find out what time it is.

Hi Becky.

9 weeks from tonight, and this time, we will be done with our first dinner together on the Repo. :cool1:

Can't believe we're in the single digits for weeks. It is going to be here before we know it. I have so much work to get done. I'm starting my year-end stuff this week even though it is not until June 30th. I can't put it off.

On vacation...but some activities planned that needed time to change for! I kept having to ask people at tables what time it was!!!

whoo hoo, start your packing!(I actually feeling really behind, I started packing 6mo before the first time we went to WDW. My friend Karen understands):) I actually tried on some clothes that didn't fit a few months ago, and they do now!!!!!!:cool1: Of course if I continue to eat like I did today, they won't be. Oh well back on track tomorrow. I have lost 20lbs since the beginning of the year and hoping to lose the 18 more (2 per week) until we go.

Oh and get this Jeff. For a brief moment we thought we were going to have to bring Sarah along (long story, but we got it all fixed). So I emailed Dreams to find out how much to add her on, it was over $2400 if we did. That is more than it was for Sean and I per person!

Yep...when you mentioned mini golf...I thought of Castaway. DCL will have to do some major remodelling of CC for the bigger ships to accommodate all the extra people. How about some display screens around the ship so that you don't have to remember your navigator?

Jeff..perhaps we could get this thread put to bed and a new thread started before you start your end-of-year work?

As you can see...I'm at home again today and that's how I manage to get FO's

Another busy day at home for me.

Ironing...YUK!

The car is being pciked up to have the paint job finished that the garage ruined last time.

I have the washing machine repair man coming this morning.

I have to pick up Rick's tablets from the Pharmacy and collect some garden waste sacks from the Library.

In addition, I am hoping that my local Councillor and council officer arrives to discuss the problem of rubbish dumping on the green opposite my home. I have been waiting for months for a sign to be put up informing the neighbourhood that it's illegal to dump rubbish. But I wil have time to DIS. Anyone else out there at the moment?

Sounds like you had a great Father's Day at DL Steve...........:thumbsup2

Early Fathers Day but Fun nonetheless.

Hi everyone!
I
What is your favorite thing on the ships? (or Castaway Cay) and What 1 thing would you like to change?

Loved the ambiance of the ship (decor, the service, the quality)

Like to change: More itineraries that incude 2 stops at CC.

You know, Jeff, I dealt with this very subject on my last cruise... I planned our WDW trip to a great degree and we had a great time and I wouldn't have done anything differently, but when I started to do the same with the cruise I stopped myself, thinking that I would have a much better time if I took things as they came and did not stress over schedules. That worked out well for us as well. Although, I do wish I had planned the days at port better.

That's crazy! I wonder why the increase?

Good morning people:goodvibes

Today is worry/panic day for me:worried: . If you can spare a little pixie dust to keep Ellis safe and "nut free" on his school trip today, feel free to send some his way:goodvibes

I lost another 1lb in weight and 1 1/2 in body fat this week.:thumbsup2

Roll on week 3 of slimfast:cool1:

DS strats at the new camp tomorrow morning. Hope he likes it. He is looking forward to it.

Have fun:banana:

I ran across a thread asking "What 1 thing would you change about DCL? (Of course, many people had more than one thing! Answers were about the ships, Castaway Cay, and DCL processes.)

So, I decided I'd put some fun into it:

What is your favorite thing on the ships? (or Castaway Cay) and What 1 thing would you like to change?

Good question!
I'd like mini golf on Castaway Cay::yes::

The thing I'd like to change is ... make time stand still onboard:goodvibes

I've been packing for Greece for weeks already:rolleyes1

I already have most of my toiletries and sundries etc in the suitcase. I have a list of Ellis' clothes to go in and Neils too. I'm working on my list but it depends on my weight as to what fits me:rolleyes1

How about some display screens around the ship so that you don't have to remember your navigator?

Good idea!

Ooooh me too!:yay:

OK - Machine fixed (well we wait and see!) and the Ironing completed. I've had a phone call from my Councillor who will be here about 12noon and I've confirmed with the garage that they should be here shortly to collect the car. That means by 1pm, I should be able to get out on the road and finish off my list!:yay: :yay: Perhaps even some retail therapy - who knows.

You know what's great Steve, is reading about others experiences and seeing what you missed. Then thinking, next time, I'm gonna do that! I want to do more of the adult enrichment classes on sea days and Martini Tasting.

Rick did some computer classes on the Princess Ship and this would be a great addition to their adult classes.

How about - not having to get off!:goodvibes :rotfl: I am so looking forward to my TOAL in August, but I don't want it to come to soon, as it will then be over (pesimistic me!)
