Good morning Heather. (It's still morning in Virginia) :)

(Matthew)

Good Morning Matthew. It's 4.30pm and I need to start thinking about dinner. How's the weather today in Virginia? It's been very overcast for us today, but humid.:)

What timing!

BTW I mentioned this thread on the 05/22/2008 thread. You appear to be known to them. TiggerzFan wrote this.

Your next cruise looks like it's going to be SO much fun.... I've seen that link before and the organization is incredible - door signs, meets, t-shirt designs, etc. But, we'd expect no less on a cruise with Verandah Man! Have fun with B.O.B!

Funny thing is, I'm not organizing anything so far for this cruise, it's all being taken care of by other great DIS'ers........:rotfl2:

Today we are having nice weather. I've been trying to get myself out for a long walk before I go to work in a couple of hours. I put on five pounds on our short cruise. :faint:

Did you get the ready made shakes in the can or the powder mix? I don't care much for the ready made in the cans, I use the Chocolate Royale powder mix, that's what I had for breakfast this morning. I mix the powder with 8 to 10 ozs. of skim milk.

I got 3 premade shakes to try different flavours. Choc, vanilla and mango and something.

Whichever flavour Neil and I like I'll go get the powder - I assume it works out cheaper than the premixed stuff?

I also got the cheesy nibbles and a choc bar to try too.

I get me shakemix and snack bars at BJ's. Yes, more economical than the premade cans.

Just been outbid again on ebay:mad:

I was after a textoline /hardwood sunbed.

Some pig outbid me by 2 seconds:mad:

Do you have them for brekkie and lunch and then a regular dinner?

Have you tried the soups too? Any recomendations on flavours?

I do the two shakes a day(brekkie and lunch) then "try" to have a sensible dinner. I usually have one or two snack bars a day as well. Haven't tried the soups or anything else.

Thanks Andy - I'm starting tomorrow:thumbsup2

I was just on their website - there are some nice recipes on there for evening meals - its portion control with me though:rolleyes1

Do you find you're hungry all the time or not? Would you recomend a piece of fruit istead of the snack bar or just stick to the snack bars?

Neil and I are going to try it together so hopefully we'll motivate each other.:thumbsup2

I have to confess, I clicked on you Dad's link... I have to get Matthew to check it out. The list for qualifying is awesome! I lost count of how many are true for him. The one about planning the next trip the day after you get home was wrong, though... he plans during the trip! We are plotted 2 trips ahead now... and our Wonder cruise was a bit spur-of-the moment.

I'll have to find that DVC tag for our van... that has a Disney themed license plate, btw!

Hmmm, Mother Goose, what did I tell you again???

Ummm, I honestly don't even remember what I told Nancy :confused3 I probably mentioned that she should try taking pics with it in the store and maybe have them print one out for her. Some cameras have worse lags than others, so it's best that you try out the one you are going to have. I have had the Canon SD digital elphs since our first one in 1994 and I love them! Rob's parents just bought the newest one and I am in love even more :lovestruc We will be buying that one before our Vegas trip! The flash isn't as bright on that one as it is on ours.

Yup, that's exactly what you told me to do. If this doesn't work out better, I'l be looking for the Canon SD digital elph instead. BTW, do you know that SD card users can buy an Extreme SD card now. It's supposed to take quicker pictures. Too bad mine takes XD.

Here is DS's expressions when we told him about the repo. The first one is his first reaction. The second one is him thinking about what we told him and what we're doing. The 3rd one is blurry because he kept jumping up and down quickly with excitement.

Great pics Jeff. I showed them to Charlie Tuna,he laughed and said, "There's my little turkey". ::yes::

For those of you who may have thought about parasailing at Castaway Cay...

Here is a link to my video from last week. Yes, I took my video camera up with me. (At my own risk, they kept reminding me.)

I am flying tandem with DD 8 Sarah. They dipped us in the water three times at the end.

Fantastic video Matthew. Chuck watched it with me and now he also wants to try that next year. :thumbsup2

So, whats everyone doing today?

:chat: :drinking1 :disrocks: :laundy: and if I don't figure out something I've been working on with Photoshop then...:badpc:
:goodvibes

I've had the live cam feed on all morning playing in the background of my laptop. I didn't tell Hazel it was on and went I went to pick up Lina from her friend's house this morning, the live feed kicked in and nearly scared Hazel to death. When I arrived home Hazel said, "Your laptop said good morning to me as I was walking out of the bathroom."

Hazel didn't think it was so funny......:headache:

Sorry, Hazel, but I think that was hilarious!!:rotfl2:

Hiya Becky...when the list got to 70 I gave up on the idea of making anything. I gave in and got something off ebay.

What did you get for 70 some people? How is your game run Heather?

Yes, thanks Jeff, Karen, Jen Cheryl and especially Cass for her wonderful BOB website! (Hope I didn't forget anyone). :confused3

Wow! - quiet on here today:eek:

We're having a lazy day - doing nothing!

I've been out and bought some slimfast shakes - going to give tem a try tomorrow.

I've removed all the wine from the kitchen and we hardly have any chocolate left in the house. I'm starting trying yet again:rolleyes1

6 weeks til bikini on the beach time:scared1:

Bought myself a lovely skirt, dress and shorts too. Just need the body to go inside them now:lmao:

I tried Slim Fast eons ago...before the bars and all. I've also been on NutriSystem and Weight Watchers. I've succeeded at all of the (except the slim fast...drinking lunch was a bit tough for me!) And... I've gained back what I lost and more. I rejoined WW recently... and then had schedule issues and have missed over a month of meetings! Seriously wrong! Good luck with the slim fast!:woohoo:

Holy cow Beth! I just noticed that your ticker goes back and forth between two different trips! That is too cool. :thumbsup2

Here in Jersey we have to have the state license plates on both the front and back of our car, if not, I'd have a DCL plate on the front of the car!!! ;)

I must admit I do feel hungry from time to time. Hazel also bought some Nature Valley energy bars and I snack on them in the morning while I am reading meters, they are less messy than the SF snack bars. I usually have a SF snack bar during my afternoon break(I keep them in the frig), then have another one in the evening as a snack.

I noticed that earlier as well, way cool!!!

Is that all settled now Andy? You're an "owner"?
(I'm still trying to make sense out of DVC for someone my age). :confused3

That's the kind I get too Andy :thumbsup2 I hate the premade stuff :crazy2:
I started back on it again today.

Karen, as long as I eat my snacks in between the meals, I don't feel hungry once I get going. The first 2-3 days are hard to go from eating to drinking breakfast and lunch but it gets easier as time goes by. Just make sure you eat those 3 snacks or you will get so hungry, you will eat everything in the fridge :rolleyes1 :lmao:

Yeah, I just noticed that too Nancy! How cool!! :smokin:

Nancy, I saw those SD cards in a flyer the other day, and they are cheap too!! :hyper:

I think we will get one of those when we buy the new Elph in October :thumbsup2

Time to get my fat butt on my elliptical ::yes::
