MORNING/AFTERNOON PEEPS!!

Long night! We didn't get in from the bar until 1:00am and I was up and out the dorr by 6:30am. :sad2: I am going to be worthless come 2:00pm. We went out to celebrate another victory with my kickball team! We are 5-0!!! We are the only undefeated team in the league!! :cheer2:

Holiday Weekend here in the States this weekend - we have Monday off.

It usually is the considered the beginning of Summer, although it isn't too warm yet here in WI.

Any big plans for anyone?

Going today to get some plants for my garden. Baby shower to go to tomorrow morning, Cookout after that. Sunday a cookout. Monday maybe a movie, doesn't sound like that weather is going to be too great.

I wanted the kids to hire a videographer for the wedding but everywhere they checked it was over $1000.00!!:scared1: Kristin and Jesse are on a tighter budget with their wedding so I don't think they'll be hiring one either.

I should have asked Victoria for her hubby's business card. I think he does that as a side job. :)

For the price of a plane ticket Woody and I will fly out and do your video and pictures! :thumbsup2 We did this for a friend of ours. She is a flutist and played at our wedding in exchange for us taking pictures at her wedding. :goodvibes Everything turned out wonderfully!

I want to be there now. :sad1:

If Monday is icky out, possibility of that, but we haven't had rain now for a few weeks (substantial rain), we will probably head to see one of the new movies that have been released recently. I'm guessing Narnia.
I think that is the same movie we'll go see.

Woody was telling me this morning that I should take a picture of my legs to show you guys. They are all black and blue from playing both kickball and soccer. I am going to look wonderful at my brothers wedding on Sunday!

Lori, looks like we are headed to either Busch Gardens or Water Country in Monday. Depends on how warm it gets! :sunny:

Howdy........

After 25+ hours, we finally have our phone service back!!! The problem was at the pole at the end of our street. It appears when the electric transformer exploded yesterday it messed up our phone line as well. I'm not sure how many people lost their phone service, but my mom's friend two streets down from us never lost her service, she might be on a different pole from us.....:confused3

Anyhow, I know I won't have time to check up on what I have missed, but I did want to report in and let eveyone know we are still alive and doing fine. If any of you have seen the Lake County, Florida fires on the news, they were very close to us, made for a scary first night here at our trailer.

The wind direction changed yesterday and the smoke was blowing our way, amde going outside a bit difficult. Hazel and I headed into town and made yet another trip to Walmart to pick up a few items we didn't get the other night.

On a funnier note, Hazel was in the shower when we lost power. Since we have our own pump, when the power died, the water stopped flowing. Hazel was NOT a happy camper, luckily, she had just finished getting the shampoo out of her hair, but had soap running down her body when the water stopped.

Not sure what we are going to do today, may go into town and see what is playing at the movies.

We have been keeping in touch with Lina, and it appears as though she is having a nice time in Chicago, they went and saw Wicked last night. This afternoon is their concert at Navy Pier, followed by a 3 hour dinner cruise on Lake Michigan.

I guess that's all for now.

Glad to see you got the phone back Andy.

However, that version of the shower story is slightly different than the one you told me. ;)

How was it that Hazel ended up in the shower at that time to begin with? :rotfl:

I was leaving that story for you to tell when you were back online.
