Well, I've got Alex home with a headache/allergies so I have to get him his lunch. Nice talking to y'all.

Have a wonderful time Andy!:thumbsup2

I know how those headaches feel, I hope he feels better soon Paige!!!

A little "proud parent" moment before I go. Emily's high school had their sports awards program yesterday. I am so proud of Emily. She is only a Freshman, so we were happy knowing that she would "letter", but she also made the All-Conference team (2nd team). Their conference is small as is their school, so it is not like she is a pitching phenom, but I was proud nonetheless. It will do wonders for her confidence as a pitcher....She also won the "glue" award. It is an award voted on by the entire team. The coach said it is the girl that epitomizes the sport, the one who keeps the team together, the one who they miss when she is not there. Emily was so flattered to receive this award, and I , of course, was very proud of her.

Of course this morning, it was back to normal and Rob and I were fussing at her about her skirt being too short....:rotfl:

Did I mention that her boyfriend's dad got orders to Hawaii and they are moving next month? He's a nice boy but I'd rather her not have a steady boyfriend at this age......

....now that I've bored you all, can someone pass the deodorant?

Not boring at all Sistah P. You know we all love to hear about all the kiddos. Congrats to Em!! Good job. :thumbsup2

My brother's base is in Hawaii but is now serving in Iraq. Can't wait for him to come home.

How about a little vacation to visit him Melody? I'd be all over that. :woohoo:

I'll tell you, even age 8 has its days - LOTS OF THEM.

As does 23 and 27.;)

Yes, gotta take a lunch. I killed myself for my last company just to have my job moved to Nashville, will never eork that hard again. Life is too short.

I'll drink to that Joanne. Well, since it's lunchtime, maybe I'll just "eat" to that instead. (I have to toss my lunch in the garbage because I over peppered it.) Dang!!

I know how those headaches feel, I hope he feels better soon Paige!!!

Me too, me too.

Where's the birthday girl?? I wonder if she will bring us any treats. I need a brownie...NOW!!:cool2:

Wow, almost 2 hours? I think we're about 2:20 to get down there if not slightly less.

I'll have to check my tickets for sure.

I know it is longer coming back because we're against the wind.

Our LA flight will be brutal. I hate that flight. It is over 4 hours and if the wind is strong, that could easily push over 5.

4 hours?...we wish, try 12 hours mate, the only good about it is the twins can now look after themselves during the flight...Rosie is by far the worst "Are we there yet?,i need a wee,am starving"...and this is only on the way to the local supermarket......:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

ps....Nancy need any slipper preservers?....:rolleyes1

Ok, so I told you guys that we might be sailing with some friends of ours right? Well, the've been humming and hawing (that just sounds wrong! ) for awhile but they finally put their deposit down and plan to cruise with us :woohoo:

I have directed them to this thread, so hopefully they will pop in and introduce themselves. They are wonderful people and have been making me laugh for over a dozen years. This will be their first cruise so I am very excited for them :woohoo: :yay:

Welcome to friends of Cass and Rob!:goodvibes

If they can be on their own now Chris, I think a single upgrade first class might be in order. ;) Two upgrades if you want to spare Hazel.

WELCOME FRIENDS!!!:goodvibes

Your E-mail still banning me Nancy?....:sad1: :sad1: :sad1:

I couldn't do that, lording it up while the kids suffer in the castle class.....:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Got it now!!! And just a drip pan would suffice. :lmao:

Maybe you should plan a trip to Chicago again to go to Eli's.

I know of a place about 75 minutes north you could stay at for free. :rolleyes1

I wish we could my friend:hug:

Do you find that it is working or that it helps? Does it do anything Cardio?

I just can't grasp the benefit of it from what I've seen. A first hand report would be good.

I don't want to spend $90 for something that doesn't work and will just sit there.

Theres a jogging part to it - I've only tried that bit once or twice. So far I've done mostly yoga moves and balance stuff.

Shed would be to get rid of.

Shift would be to move - up or down. :scared1:

Or in my case, out.

Shift - that would suit me! - I'd shift it from my stomach and *ss and get myself a nice set of personalities:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Kind of sounds like accounting. :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

BTW, your thighs may not like the hills, but do them over and over and your thighs will like those hills when they look in the mirror. :thumbsup2

Keep up the good work.

I'm not aching so far - that worries me - I might not be able to walk tomorrow:rotfl:

What is Fortnight?

2 weeks together do you not use that term?:confused3

Karen - when did you get the wii fitness, is it any good? i love going to tae bo classes, burns load of calories there.

We got it a few weeks ago when it came out. Its good fun but not aerobic as such yet. The more you do it the more things open up so theres lots still to open yet. I have4 Billy Blanmks Tae Bo videos - hard work out but great fun:thumbsup2

You are correct Andy, it was already answered. :rotfl2:

Never heard of that term before. Does this mean she is going on vacation for 14 nights?

Karen, is this your Greece trip?

Nope, Greece isnt for another 8 weeks or so. This is just a 4 day break to Wales.

Wow, almost 2 hours?

I know it is longer coming back because we're against the wind.

I wish we were so lucky - LA for us is about 11 or 12 hours:scared: - Only done it twice and I was ready to kill someone by the end of it. Dont know how Neils parents do Australia each year. I'd be :hyper:  :furious: by the end of that flight. 8 1/2 to Florida is "do-able". We usually have seatback screens and Ellis has a bag full of toys and his Nintendo ds to occupy him. I usually do a full manicure to kill the time:goodvibes

I think they got that term from talking to either Chris or Karen. They were originally trying to say Fourteen Nights, but no one could understand them. :lmao:

Its my auzzie accent:rotfl:

Welcome Cass' friends

Actually PV in my mind is getting better as the day goes on.

One of the two trips we found will not happen because there is a two hour stop for snorkeling and kayaking. The problem is that it is in the water, not on shore. DS will NOT go in the water like that and no way will he stay on a boat for 2 hours doing nothing.

The other one is about $245.

DCL has an excursion to a hotel with a couple of pool slides, but since they open up to the cruise lines, it will be busy. The cost of that was $148 and only gave you 4 hours there.

So, in looking on Expedia, I can get an all-inclusive hotel for the day (one night) for $168. This is inclusive of taxes too. They have 9 water slides around a pirate ship and castle themed pool.

There are several other hotels on the beach $133.50 and up for All-Inclusive and $105.31 for the cheapest Non-Inclusive hotel we'd go to (there are cheaper, but no thank you).

So for $20 more than the DCL Hotel excursion, I would get more time to enjoy the pool/beach and won't have to put up with the crowd.

Suz and I will be discussing this tonight. :cool1:

Sounds good, Jeff!
