I'm here only briefly....after a full on night and early morning, I'm bushed.

It's 9.15pm and I think it's time to call it a day. Been reading a lot of the WB blog reports and it looks like they're having a great time. We're still GTY, but waiting patiently.

Will post some pics of last night soon.

Night all.

Giving me THE LOOK!

I'm loving this one:lmao: :cutie: :lmao: :cutie: :lmao: :cutie:

Jeff, I bought some of that sunscreen that supposedly repels jelly fish. It is expensive for what you get, but if you would like the name I can send it to you.

Actually PV in my mind is getting better as the day goes on.

One of the two trips we found will not happen because there is a two hour stop for snorkeling and kayaking. The problem is that it is in the water, not on shore. DS will NOT go in the water like that and no way will he stay on a boat for 2 hours doing nothing.

The other one is about $245.

DCL has an excursion to a hotel with a couple of pool slides, but since they open up to the cruise lines, it will be busy. The cost of that was $148 and only gave you 4 hours there.

So, in looking on Expedia, I can get an all-inclusive hotel for the day (one night) for $168. This is inclusive of taxes too. They have 9 water slides around a pirate ship and castle themed pool.

There are several other hotels on the beach $133.50 and up for All-Inclusive and $105.31 for the cheapest Non-Inclusive hotel we'd go to (there are cheaper, but no thank you).

So for $20 more than the DCL Hotel excursion, I would get more time to enjoy the pool/beach and won't have to put up with the crowd.

Suz and I will be discussing this tonight. :cool1:

One more day, one more day, that's all I've got is one more day(at work until a week from tomorrow). :yay: :yay: :yay:

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO looking forward to getting away for a few days. This Thursday Hazel and I are planning on going to www.dixiecrossroads.com for lunch. I'll be getting my Rock Shrimp!!!   We are meeting a friend there, that we went to high school with, that lives near Dixie Crossroads.

And....since we won't be too far from Cape Canaveral, we might just take a ride down to the port area and watch the Wonder sail away on Thursday......:goodvibes

That will make your day.

Just don't get any thoughts of cancelling the BOB to go on an earlier DCL cruise.

I'm heading out kids (like it matters, I wasn't on much today).

Talk to y'all tonight.

To make a long story short: I think Hazel started attending the same Jr./Sr. High School I was attending during her Freshman year(I was in 8th, Hazel is 13 months older than me). Back then our school held 7th-12th grades, now it's 9th-12th. We rode the same bus to school, in fact we had the same bus stop, as we only lived a few blocks apart. I invited her to join our youth group at church and we were just friends for the longest time. Hazel graduated in 1972, I graduated in 1973. We remained friends since we were still part of the youth group, then BOOM, out of no where, Cupid's arrow struck. We started dating, then got married on 10/24/75.

Angelina, will be graduating in four weeks, from the same high that Hazel and I did, those many years ago. In fact I have my 35 year class reunion coming up later this fall.

Hmmmm dinner tonight, we just had ribs, mac salad, potatoes and corn on the cob.....yummmm and DH and DD just headed to dairy queen for some dessert....yuuummmm

Cass your DD is sooooo cute!!!!!

Wow Andy, 1975, I thought DH and I have been together forever, I was 14 and he was 17 when we started dating...only didn't tell him I was 14 right away:rolleyes1 Fortunatley we went to different schools he just worked at the gas station at the top of my street which is where we met:love: so that was in 1980 and we where married in 1987:love:

If I don't get a chance to chat with ya, I hope you and Hazel have a awesome trip!!!!!

Oh my ice cream is here gotta run:dance3:

Love the story Andy. Sean and I also met in High School, my jr his senior year. I remember the day, Sean doesn't:confused3 Of course I had a huge crush on him, then kind of like you boom:love: Cupid smacked him upside the head and well here we are over 20 years later.

OK, who started this bad luck thing today anyhow? :confused3

As I was typing my reply to Rose a few minutes ago our phone rang. It was my mom calling from Florida, she wanted to let me know that her car broke down again and suggested that I keep the car reservation that I had. Well, I cancelled that reservation yesterday and now the price has gone up, not by much, but still this was an unexpected surprise today.

My mom just got her car out of the shop the other day, after having a new transmission put in it(that's why I cancelled the other ressie). My mom was driving home this afternoon and the car started choking and sputtering, she had to have Walt come rescue her and have the car towed to the shop. Even if the car gets fixed tomorrow, I don't want to take a chance of something else happening, so this time I will stick with the rental car ressie. Better to be safe, than sorry.........;)

Evening all. Just a drive by post.

Have to head out to the store. Need to see if I can find a shirt for my brother.

Then DS and I need to find Suz a gift for her b-day.

Be back later.

That will make your day.

Just don't get any thoughts of cancelling the BOB to go on an earlier DCL cruise.

If I had my way, we would have been on this Thursday's sailing of the Wonder.......;) :lmao: ;)

12 hours from now, I will just have finished printing off our boarding passes!!! :thumbsup2
