Really! :rotfl2:

Does anyone have a picture of the "Welcome to Grand Cayman" sign without people? Same for Cozumel if there was one?

While I'm on the subject (a sore one at that), how about a picture of the Southernmost Point in Key West? I made my entire family hoof it over there last year in that stinkin' hot and humid weather only to find a line a block long for pictures. I did snap a picture but it has a few strangers in it. I snapped and ran ahead of my family because I could feel the glare from their stares at my back. AND IT WAS HOT,HOT,HOT!!!:furious: I think I made up for it with a few Mango Margaritas at Jimmy Buffets. :cutie:

Thanks kids!

I don't have any photos for you, but we don't talk about Southernmost point too much either - Pete and I walked all the way down and took a couple photos, but I don't think he's forgiven me yet for that long walk all the way down there!

If you get desperate, I can send you a pic and you can edit me out - you're a computer graphics whiz now too, right??? :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Morning everyone! Is the DIS slow or is it just me? Maybe me. :confused3

I know we haven't heard from her for ages, but I hope Linda is OK. Rick and I were only talking about the flash floods last year, on our way home yesterday.

Karen - yes please on the photo, scrapbookers find this interesting, you know. I hope they're not self adhesive ones - the acid in the glue does nasty things to photos.

The album is 5 photos per page - three horizonal and three vertical - just the slot in the clear sleeve sort. I'll take a photo when the camera battery is charged up. I used to buy the sort that you glued in, but I like the slot in type now.

I'm pretty sure we're on the southernmost point photos. I dont think I have a plain one, but I'll look. Could you google it and see if you can use one of those piccies?

I dont remember seeing one in Cozumel, I was too busy trying to stand upright in all that wind:rotfl:

Well, the door saga is finally over. They came and sorted out the 2 faults only to make a further 2 themselves:rotfl2:

We've given up. They offered to try AGAIN, but we told them no way. We've paid them half the money and they were grateful. The manager came back and told us how embarrassed he was about the whole mess and apologised.

The best of it is, the door actually looks ok:lmao: . The guy got the tiny dent/scratch out and the other problems arent really visible at all, so we've paid him and we're glad to be finished with it all.

The other advantage is that we now have a spare $520 to spend on the garden lighting:yay: :yay:

Neil wants to save it but.... no way - I'm calling an electrician tomorrow:lmao:

We also fetched the new turf to finish off the back garden. Neils in bed now ready for tonights shift, but I'll get him working on that tomorrow;)

I'm off to research the cost of outdoor power points:rolleyes1

Cass:[/B] I woke up this morning around 3:00 am and thought of you. We had the most spectacular lightning and thunder show. :dance3: Lots of rain too. :yay:

Today is Jesse's sister's wedding. Kristin is already running around here like a chicken with her head cut off. Hair at 8:30, make-up follows, then to the church by 11:00. Would it be uncouth if I had a good old Corona Lite with my wedding cake?? :scared1: YIKES, you can dress me up but you can't take me anywhere. :worried:

(Don't worry, I'll post pics and keep Tony away from the camcorder).:bitelip:

Have a great Friday everyone.

We were supposed to have some storms last night but that never happened :(

Good luck with the wedding today Nancy!! I know how you feel, I'm more like...You CAN'T dress me up and you can't take me anywhere either :rotfl2: Now if I could wear shorts and a tee to the wedding, no problem !! :thumbsup2

Sorry Nancy, I thought I had a GC pic for you but we're in all of them, even the one from 2003 on RCCL, sorry. I am sure you could find one online but it won't be print quality.

Good mornign everyone. ROugh night here in our household.
My children and dogs are trying to kill me, btw.

I get that same feeling sometimes, but my version is my dogs, my cat and my kid :lmao: Everything ok??

Jeff, hope you had a good time at the zoo! Oh and congrats on 10,000!! :woohoo: If I posted regularily from the time I joined the DIS, I would probably have about 50,000 but I didn't post for the first 5 years or so :rolleyes1

Andy, Lina looks gorgeous!!! :lovestruc She's gonna look back on that pic in 20 years and laugh about the sunglasses, or at least her kids will :lmao:

Beth, wow that is a whole lotta karma happening there!!! ::yes::

Mike & Robin, we miss you guys!!! You need to post more  Hope things are turning around for you :thumbsup2

I have no "welcome" pics--our Southernmost point was taken by Cheryl (thanks:goodvibes ) but I never thought to take one without us in it.

I had to laugh when you said your family was mad. Here is my family walking back to the ship after taking a pic at Southernmost Point........notice Emily's gesture.:rotfl:

Hazel just told me that she received a call from Nancy(closing company for our DVC resale) earlier this afternoon and Hazel was told that our closing was taking place today. Nancy said she would send an e-mail when the closing was finalized!!! :worship:

Thanks.

Yes, the zoo was good. Left just as the rain started. The boys in our group we pretty well behaved for the most part.

The animals were very active. The peacocks were struttng their stuff with the feather wide, actually keeping others away. Two rhinos were bucking horns (one looked female, so may be they were mating :confused3 ). That one was in the water and the other wanted to go in. Then there were the lions. Let's just say they were very active. :rolleyes1 A mom next to us (not in our group) said to her little kid, look the lions are playing, the one is jumping on the other one. I'm thinking, lady, that ain't jumping. Maybe change that first letter to an "H". :rotfl2: The boys were amused. We quickly moved on - sorry no time for a pick of that (although I have one of the camels from last year ;) ).

Jeff: Is today the big day for DS? Hope you have a camera ready.:woohoo: I'll have the windows open just in case I hear the screams of delight!

Yes, he finds out tonight. I'll try to remember to get a pic. I'll PM you it if I get one.

Good luck ever getting a SMP pic with no one around it. We may have one of people walking away, so it could be cropped out, but that place is busy.

I'll also see what we have for GC and Coz. I believe we have both.

Buying or selling? We are waiting for closing on an additional 50 point at OKW. Brings us up to a nice round number. :)
