Good Morning BOBers, just dropping by for a quick howdy-doo this morning. Had quite a few more severe thunderstorms roll through last night, but listening to the rain was so calming and relaxing........

Later this morning we have to go over to Walt's house. My mom fixed some pants fort Hazel and we have to pick up some paperwork to take back to one of my brothers back in NJ.

All is well, not looking forward to out trip back home tomorrow. If this is what retirement is going to be like, I'm ready for it.........

We had it all,when Ronnie missed but when Terry missed ....The best bit for me was watching Sir Bobby Charlton lead the team up them "68" steps on what would have been George Best birthday,in the 50 year anniversary of the Munich Air crash....The funny thing was i must have been stood under a hole in the roof coz the "rain" was rolling down my face despite the rest of me being bone dry....

Took Netzero about 8 or 9 tries before they found an open phone line so I could get online..........

We had quite a few severe thunderstorms go through the area this afternoon, but we can't complain the rain is really needed.

Just heard on the 5 o'clock news that the fire here in Lake County is now 50% contained. :

Hazel and I went to The China House Restaurant for lunch today. The "all you can eat buffet" was only $3.99 per person, the regular price is $6.99 and I must say, thye food was outstanding!!! We have eaten here before, and weren't sure of they were still open, we were happy to find out they were!!!

That's all for now...........

£2 for a meal?...4 of us paid $500 for 3 starters,4 mains,2 cokes and a large Vodka and coke in a modest Moscow restaurant,to spend a week there you either need to be anorexic or loaded....

Heads up!

Anyone here headed to WDW in the next 6 months: The Orlando Sentinel is offering a $50 gift certificate to Raglan Road for $25. They will ship it to your house within 7-10 days of purchase (I just bought one this afternoon).

It's good for all food and booze and expires in November.

We've eaten here twice and the food was great, the alcohol choices tasty and varied, and the atmosphere was lively and fun.

Since we are telling DS next Friday (5/30) about the cruise, I'm sure once our friend who is coming in to watch DS for 2 weeks before summer camp starts, leaves, the suitcases will be on the guest bed and the packing will begin - 2 months early. This is rare for us, as we usually pack no earlier than the weekend before and sometimes the night before.

We haven't put away our cases from our trip to Cork.

Looks like no one is getting off the ship in Cartagena on the repo. Or they're not doing any excursions.

Every tour for that stop still shows availability.

In fact, there is a lot of availability for excursions in all of the ports. People must just be going to enjoy the ship and plan on doing the ports on their own.

We'll we're getting off in all of the ports, but taking DCL tours. We did look into another excursion company, but believe or not, they were more expensive.

Isn't it a shame that a friendly board like this has a few people intent on upsetting others and so bans like this have to be implemented. I just don't understand.
