Time to grab some breakfast, oh surprise of all surprises, Lina just arrived home from her sleepover. Ashley and her mom had some errands to take care of this morning, so they dropped Lina off on their way out!!! Saves me a trip today!!!

taylor mason was on there trying out. he was the ventriloquist on our dcl cruise in 2005.(remember him walt and di and cass and rob.?)
he did a bit with paco the pig and romeo.
we was great. he didnt get picked to move on for the nbc show though.

Good morning all.

Not much going on around here. I am working from home so I don't have to go in. Have too much do do before Wednesday. DS # 1 is leaving Tuesdsay and he is working a double tomorrow so I wanted to stay home. But he isn't even up yet!!!!

I asked dh what he wanted to do tomorrow but I got no answer, so I guess he's on his own. We are going out for dinner tonight for tomorrow.

Just got back from breakfast with my little one. We ran to savers. Somehow I was out of Thank you notes so I stopped by there to get a variety of them. This morning is just a tie up some ends that need tying. I ordered chairs for my table 8 weeks ago. They told me they would take 4 to 6 weeks. I just called and they told me it should be another 8 to 10 days. Well I am going to try to get some cooking done. I would like to get most of the week done this morning before Scott gets up and we have to get the older kids.

Good morning everyone!
Ernie had me up at 4am again this morning but now the little bugger is back to sleep while I have to get up for work!

On a sad note, a friend EB grew up with was murdered by his stepfather last night. EB woke me up before midnight to tell me the news.
Here's the story.

We visit his restaurant near our house on a regular basis...were just there for ice cream last week.
It's a tragedy. EB and I are pretty upset....EB moreso than me, obviously. I only knew him from the restaurant.

He has a lot of fond memories of Kevin and his brother growing up here in the Back Mountain. They'd get in so much trouble together.
Please pray for his family.

Lina came in yesterday afternoon and told us she had been talking to one of her friend's parents. The parent had asked Lina if she was going away for her schooling, Lina's said her reply was, "My parents couldn't handle if I went away for school." I think it is more like, Lina couldn't handle being away from mom and dad for so long at a time.

I hope the graduation is going well!

It's more on the line of a religious type of ceremony, at least it was when Hazel and I graduated from high school. Of course, that was 35 and 36 years ago.............

Also, back then the ceremony was called Baccalaureate.

Sean's school had the Baccalaureate ceremony the Friday before Graduation.

It's still called Baccalaureate here, but it is optional for the students because it is religious.

Gee, ours wasn't religious in any way at all.
Sean's school isn't religious either, but they still called it a Baccalaureate.
