pretty spiffy uniforms. i like that his is all dirty too. that means he's a scrapper.

It's funny that you mentioned the uniform! The league got all the same color for all the teams a couple of years ago on some deal. His baseball number is 64. They all have numbers like football linemen!

Lori won't see this until after she gets back home, so I will tell a secret. She tells everyone her favorite holiday is Flag Day -- June 14. My DD and mom have decorated my parents house with flags everywhere. They are also making two jello flags for the party tomorrow. My dad is supposed to put a huge flag on the roof when he gets home this afternoon--Mom had our local Woodmen of the World donate their biggest one!



She'll love it! Lori always does such thoughtful things for others. It will be fun for her to have some attention! She is the baby!

i dont know if i should be bummed out or flattered..
i'm over my parents working in the yard, mowing , trimming etc....no shirt on.
they live in kind of a retirement area, so i look up and see a bunch of ladies in their 60's and 70's sitting in lawn chairs watching me while drinking diet cokes.

should i be happy that underdog still attracts the ladies?, or depressed that
the elderly may be the only ones to find me attractive anymore?

Check this out. It's a live feed into a lion's cub den. There is a Momma and four babies. You can see them thorughout the day -- I've caught them eating, playing, getting a bath, etc. It's too cute (and very addicting!)

Check this out. It's a live feed into a lion's cub den. There is a Momma and four babies. You can see them thorughout the day -- I've caught them eating, playing, getting a bath, etc. It's too cute (and very addicting!)

She's just sleeping right now, I'm bookmarking the site though.

We're back after making a mercy drive by at Wendy's for Lina as she didn't want to eat dinner before going to the school. I'll be working on the pics in a little bit. The ceremony tonight was a lot different than the type we had, it was not a religious type ceremony at all. It was classified as more of a gathering of friends. It was nice, but because of the # of students in the class, the Convocation was held in the gym, which is NOT air conditioned. Put about 750 people in the gym on an evening when it was still 88* outside, makes for a sticky time. Luckily, the ceremony only lasted about one hour.

The Graduation Ceremony will be outside at the football stadium at 6:30pm, the forecast for Tuesday evening is low humidity and a mild 78*, sounds wonderful to me!!!

I don't know Andy but reading all of this is making me mistey eyed. I am not sure how I will handle it when my little girl gets to that point. I had a rough time with her leaving K. I could not imagine 12th.
